A rooster crows, and people begin to emerge into the dawn. The sky is rapidly lightening into a pretty blue, with only a bunny shaped cloud to mar the expanse.
As you gather near the noose and chair, you notice that Drealmer's corpse is doing an awful lot of moving around in that shallow ditch. Looks like he's active again, and doing okay. Suddenly, he begins shouting obscenities, cursing the gods, the mods, the mayor, and pretty much daring people to kill him. After a short huddle on the wall, Adalia slips up behind him and pins him. The mayor silently inputs the activation code for the Modkillerator 3000 and hands the weapon to Bler, who takes careful aim with the laser sight and fires on the struggling Drealmer. There is nothing left, not even dust. Or almost nothing, as a bit of gray matter disappears into Adalia's mouth. 'What?' he mumbles, 'I was hungry.'
There is a popping sound in the aftermath, and you turn to see the puzzle-bot smoking. A crackle of lightning shoots across it before exploding into a burst of light. When the spots clear up, there is a fellow standing next to the puzzle-bot that you don't recognize; he introduces himself as RWarehall, and asks what is going on.
The mayor speaks, "I've received a report that a patrol came across a body last night. Looks like the violence isn't over yet, so none of you are leaving."
Leonard's body is carried in and set near the stage. He has been cut up quite badly, and it seems he bled to death. "The guards have already searched his chosen residence, and it looks like he ran out of thyme."
Leonard is dead. He was "Angela the Seer", the Herbalist, and a Townsperson.
RWarehall has replaced zeogold.
