JoeSapphire: If NMillar is WRONG then that does not prove that you are good.

Rodzaju: but the snake basket was outside Damnation’s residence.

I don't know where to begin.
Looks like I'm RIGHT! :)

And you draw this conclusion HOW, exactly?
avatar
Rodzaju: And you draw this conclusion HOW, exactly?
Why would you be outside Damnation's house without a purpose? Other player names aren't generally mentioned in flavour unless you made the decision to visit that player (i.e. a power role).

And no, I'm not role-fishing, as Rodzaju has stated himself that the flavour was just to get him out of the house so that the investigative role that he suggests may have visited him last night would have an empty house to investigate.

Again, this doesn't seem to follow standard mafia practice. Normally the investigator would get flavour along the lines of, "such and such is fast asleep".

As I said, I don't know the significance of that property.
I'm not in the habit of 2nd guessing the mod.

Blatantly & provably LYING is much more an indication of bad than wrong in my book.

Agreed. This is very baffling. I don't know what to think about this. Is it an attempt by Rodzaju to redirect votes towards Damnation? Is he telling merely a half-truth so that he doesn't give up too much information (to either town or scum, depending on his alignment)?

Apart from those questions, why throw Damnation's name in now, and not earlier when he was talking about the snake? This is the first time we have heard even a hint of this. Something like "I ran into a snake in front of another player's residence" would have been relatively innocuous and pro-town, right?

Just questions upon questions. One thing I am fairly certain of is that Rodzaju is neither a fool nor an idiot, so there must be a method to his madness here.
Yet again there is an attempt to attribute nefarious purpose to my comments.
I am NOT trying to get people to target damnation.

Interesting that it is Krypsen that makes this supposition.
Considering:
A) I have long suspected him of being mafia & recently in cahoots with Nmillar.
B) I suspected him of name dropping as a means of communication on Day 1.
He consistently denied this, but now levels the same accusation at me?

Again, whether there is any significance to it being damnations house, I have no idea.
Whether NFY thought it presented a more coherent world if specific places are mentioned... or if there is any reason for it to have been damnations house, I don’t know the reason.

More pure speculation, based on how this might have played out if I were the mod (anyone remember game 10?):
I am investigated.
So I need to be absent to allow the investigation.
Sending me for a little walk is a fairly innocuous way of doing this.
Damnation is targeted (Whether watcher, or tracker, or killer, or doc or whatever doesn’t matter).
Whoever targeted Damn is blocked.
NFY perhaps doesn’t want damn to know he was targeted.
So my scuffle with the snake creates a disturbance & scares off whoever was approaching damn’s house.

I know some of you played in game 10.
Everyone else is of course free to look over the night actions at the end of that thread.
Again, I should re-inforce that this is pure speculation, based on how I might have done things.

Actually, I wasn't trying to attribute any negative purpose to your comment. I find it entirely plausible that you could have a pro-town role and also direct votes towards another player. For instance, let's say you targeted Damnation last Night and saw something suspicious, but didn't want to out yourself (very pro-town) but still didn't want to let it go without mentioning (especially since you are getting some votes). That is where the half-truth part of my post comes in.

Do you see how what I wrote was actually fairly neutral, given the context? I forgive that you immediately jumped to the conclusion that I was calling your comments scummy, since I have I been on you all game for being scum. However, you are honestly seeming more town to me Today than in past Days. It is more a gut feeling that anything else (and a reason I need to do a reread), but it is the main reason I haven't yet voted for you.
Maybe flogging a dead horse, but I had planned a final section to my last post that seems to have not made it into the final version:

I have no way of knowing whether NFY thinks the same way, or if there is a completely different significance to these events, or indeed if there is ANY significance to these events.
(Suddenly I find myself reminded of Vitek’s vendetta against his furniture in game 10….)

JoeSapphire: ORRR!!

The mafia have to PAY COINS for the nightkill and the most effective methods of kill cost more coins!
On the first night they have few coins and want to save them so they opt for slow poison.
Which CAN ONLY MEAN that they're saving up for UNBLOCKABLE TRIPLE-KILL
Hmm, there might be something in this. Didn't someone mention being robbed of some of their coins last night? Well, I suppose we don't have enough info for this to be in any way useful even if it does turn out to be true.

Damnation, on post 1085. And the coins were stolen on night 1, no mention of stealing during night 2 so far.

Uh.... huh....

So, what are your thoughts on this nmillar/rodzaju thing? Does your post 1255 mean you are siding more with nmillar than Rodzaju?

Also, what are your thoughts on whether or not Telika was poisoned Night 1 and cured Night 2? Do you think some power-role may have healed him or was it all a farce?

Inquiring minds want to know. (If you answered either of these earlier, then I forgot or missed it. Apologies)

Not gonna lie, I keep forgetting that too. Will have more in a bit, reading and getting beaten up by my dog for my dinner <.<.

Yeah, Day 2 was really short. And, the number of deaths has been pretty low so far. It might as well be Day 2 in a lot of respects. I was mainly using SirPrimalform's post as a weak segue to get on the record about a few things. He has been a player whom I have had my eye on for most of the game, and I am quite curious what his thoughts are.
