At least Damnation has said that if there's no consensus by the time we hit the deadline then one of the absentees will be modkilled in lieu. I just hope that it provides the flavour a lynch would have done.

There's not so much of a reason to push for a lynch now, but I'm going to leave my vote on Damuna because I still feel that she's the more suspicious of the two (?) needing replacement.

As it stands, I think the best thing to do is to not do anything, and let the deadline happen. Unless these games of yours really get going in the last 36 hours, we're seemingly stuck with getting one of the absentees anyway. Fom reading some of the discussion after one of the previous games here, if one of them is mafia and one is town, it seems we have a better chance of getting the mafia if the mod decides randomly than if we pick one of them ourselves.

This occurred to me too. I hope that Damnation really does pick one of them at random. If I was modding, there'd be a temptation to modkill the town one just because of the fact that one town member is a smaller proportion than one mafia member and is less likely to unbalance the game.

I don't completely disagree with lynching Damuna for being suspicious, my disagreement is more that there's no defense, no argument, and thus too many places for hiding. The defending, the case building is pretty important for Day 1 play as far as I've seen.

Unfortunately I'd say that Damuna's probably going to be most likely lynched before a modkill can happen.

Damn it, I was hoping for extension when looking for replacements is in progress. :-(

So people, let's try to figure out something. Remember Day 3 on Game 10? We found scum in less than 48 hours from deadline. I admit there weren't 3 absentees there and also there wasn't people like SirPrimalform who already gave up and "urges" us to give up too and accept inevitable. Which is lynch without our controls and with minimum of informations.
This is not townie approach at all. Unvote Sirprimalform, vote Sirprimalform.

Odd, I thought you would know that doing unnecessary stuff is ought to catch attention ;) Just look at what happened every time I wrote some in parenthesis :P But oh well - I won't put that much into it.

Ok, so do you know who the scum are? I don't see my proposal to lynch Damuna as giving up, it was damage control. No one else has come up with anything better and the deadline is looming. But as I said before we now know that there'll be a modkill if there's no lynch.

By all means let's look for scum, I just don't think we'll have much luck this close to the deadline and with this little activity.


p.s. I can't tell whether you're voting for me because you think I'm scum or because you just don't like my current play (or because I won't tell you the answers to my puzzle until friday ;P).

It's still the first day! I'm of the opinion that there's not a lot you can actively do on the first day (assuming the scum don't slip up). I have been saying for a little while now that I'd much rather just get on with the game because we're spending too much time looking for something that's not there yet.
