Ah crap I just realised I was reading a phantom 'town' in Rodzaju's role designation (I have a cold, shush.). Point taken about the towniness or lack-thereof, and this does have implications for the balance. Hmmm. Out of 16 that's 1 confirmed 3rd party. I'm inclined to agree with you that this does indeed point to 2M + SK. Anything else (3M1SK or 4M) gives 5/16 non-town, which is just evil. Okay maybe we're not quite as screwed as I thought.

His role claim ha been verified, but I was once the Hammer vote in a game...and I was Mafia, so I see no reason at all why this one couldnt be the same....also we have enough power roles out there for town already.

Yup. Reasons were outlined in my first Day 3 post. Plus if there's a serial killer in this game I wanted to see who it could potentially be.

I'm very curious as to why Robbeasy suddenly jumps in the game wanting Detlik dead. Before I do anything I would like to hear from him why all of a sudden he has Detlik as a target.

I have Detlik as a target because frankly, there isn't a whole deal of stuff to go on even now, after two loooooong days. The reason given is at least as good as any other I've seen so far!

5/16 non-town isn't as evil as it sounds when they're not all in the same faction. It's not that town lose when they equal the number of non-town, it's that the mafia win when the number of other players equal them in size, so in that sense survivors and serial killers count as town because they vote 'individually'. Let's say the setup was 3M+SK+S: it would be perfectly possible for the last day to dawn with the 3 mafia, the serial killer and the survivor alive along with only two townies. Although town is obviously screwed, the mafia don't have a majority yet.

Basically, I don't think it's wise to rule out 5/16 non-town as being too cruel or unbalanced. D=
