Getting a message that you have been blocked is not always indicative that you have a role. How and when messages are sent out very much depends on the moderator. However, you have just soft-claimed some sort of role, so there is no going back now. It is nice to have confirmation though. Since I think the likelihood of both of you being on the same scum-team is very slim, I'll take this as a 99% confirmation that GoJays2025 is in fact a role-blocker. It does nothing to confirm that he is a town roleblocker, but I believe he is town for entirely different reasons that I have already stated.

Yeah, and I am not sure I buy his rebuttal. It seems like he is backing off his argument now that you are lynched because he knows you are going to flip town.

I don't recall many posts by him waffling on you at all, but I may have easily missed/forgotten something. I'll reread during the Night and make sure, or maybe TwilightBard will post examples where he mentioned he wasn't 100% on your scumminess from before GoJays2025 role-claimed (afterwards, you seemed like a pretty sure lynch, so all posts there are suspect to me).

I'm glad that we finally did SOMETHING, though I've got that uneasy feeling about NFY. The suspense... the suspense...

I found out Detlik's flavour on N1. He's Joacim Cans and he's the singer for Hammerfall. Yes I am a name cop. I'll buy patisserie for anyone who spotted my breadcrumb.

With the state of the game right now, I figured this was an expendable role, since it'd presumably only become useful in the closing stages when whatever checking role there is also comes out into the open. Right now you guys desperately need a lynch to work with, and I would bet my vocal chords that there was scum on this wagon.

Well, I'll admit that I totally missed the breadcrumb. Maybe after the game is finished you can let us in on it? Please. :)

However, this does explain why you were asking for a name claim in Post 1139:

It made you look a little scummy to me at the time, honestly. Not a lot, other factors outweighed it, but it was a slight ping on my scumdar.

This also supports Detlik's role-claim. We don't know what faction Detlik might be, and we also don't know if his voting limitation has any other power attached, however we can be pretty confident that he is limited to a hammer vote.

Damn, you lynched NFY while I was out last night!

For once, the day has been long, and you all begin to become tired.

Despite your tire, the day just seems to be going on and on. Why won't that sun set? Is there really a God up in heaven who now plays tricks on this blooded and gruesome festival?

Eh, who knows, might just be a very, very long summer's day.

After much discussion, two of you begin to bark at one another.

"You know, I believe there's something odd about you!" stoicsentry says to NotFrenchYet.

"I could say the same about you!" NotFrenchYet replies.

Upon hearing these words, you all flock together to poke words out of the two.

"Why, you two are obviously hiding something from us!" bazilisek says, as he points a finger at them.

"Yes, I concur! Spill your guts, or we spill them for you!" Robbeasy exclaims.

More heated debate ensues, and the long debate dies out as the sun still shines bright upon the blue sky.

Slowly, discussion builds up, as long quiet people begin to speak their mind.

"I'm not sure, but maybe there was something about that discussion earlier... There were something interesting happening. Care to elaborate on your actions, GoJays?" asks Krypsyn as he breaks his own silence.

"Bloody murder!" The rest yell before GoJays has a chance to speak his mind.

"Wait, I was slightly confused, and was deep in other thoughts!" GoJays explains, and everyone seems to calm down by his words.

After a few more silent words are exchanged, bazilisek steps up once more.

"It's time we end this. Main suspect NotFrenchYet, I will see you hang for your cruel crimes against us, and this GOGHammer Festival!" bazilisek shouts as he points menacingly towards NotFrenchYet.

"What? I have done none of these attrocities! How DARE you accuse me, when you, yourself is as likely to be the culprit?!" NotFrenchYet retorts.

"Silence curr, for this night you die!" Rodzaju shouts as the sun finally begins to set.

Everyone stands up from the resting places they have found about the stage, most away from the scene of nmillar's and Damuna's deaths. nmillar's corpse still reeks of rot and decay. Delicious.

You encircle and move in towards NotFrenchYet, who desperately looks around for an exit. Moving her arms in ways that resemble a desperate defense.

As you draw closer, she begins to scream and attempts to run between TwilightBard and Red_Baron, who quickly get a hold of her.

"Now you listen here little girl, I don't know how you managed to do it, but you will suffer for these transgressions you have performed" SirPrimalform says has he grabs NotFrenchYet's neck and forces her to the ground.

"How should we do it?" Detlik asks.

"Forcefully, and without hesitation. She deserves to suffer at the hand of justice." Robbeasy says as he kicks NotFrenchYet in the face, sending her out of SirPrimalform's grasp and falling onto her back with a bloody nose. She begins to crinch in pain from the kick.

"And it must be done now." jefequeso says as he stomps her in the head.

Red_Baron steps up and kicks her between the legs. TwilightBard moving over to grab one of her legs and starts to swing her around. As he releases his grasp, NotFrenchYet flies across the staging area and into a drinks booth. Soon after the roof of said booth collapses ontop of her.

"She seems strong, she has yet to scream in pain." Rodzaju says as he moves towards the booth along with Detlik, Krypsyn and bazilisek.

Some of the wooden planks begin to move, and NotFrenchYet's small figure rises from the wreckage, shaking from the pain she is obviously feeling. In anger, she begins to shout. Soon after, the shout becomes a deep, menacing roar, easily matched to that of a bear. She flings a wooden plank towards Detlik.

"Damn you! Damn you all!" she growls in her grim, dark and deep voice.

Detlik evades the plank and picks it up from the ground, and charges. He swings the plank across her face, knocking several teeth out with the hit. NotFrenchYet crumbles onto the wreckage again.

Krypsyn arrives and begins to stomp on her right knee until he hears a loud crack.

bazilisek, amused by the sound of bones cracking, desides to grab her left leg and pulls it upwards as she lays on her back, while forcing her knee into the ground. Rodzaju soon arrives to help.

NotFrenchYet makes another, loud, bellowing roar as her left leg is broken, and nearly torn off by the force applied by both bazilisek and Rodzaju. She begins to bleed furiously.

TwilightBard and SirPrimalform have arrived to the spot as well, and now drags NotFrenchYet to a standing position, where people take turns punching her in the stomach and face, over the course of which NotFrenchYet spits out blood and several other teeth.

After a while, Red_Baron desides her arms have not felt enough suffering, and begin to bend her right arm the wrong way, quickly breaking it. QuadrAlien starts doing the same with her left arm.

As her left arm breaks, QuadrAlien stops, but Red_Baron does not, and soon another roar of pain escapes the small female as her lower right arm is torn off.

"Time to finish this." Red_Baron says, as he begins to beat on NotFrenchYet with her own arm. Within a few minutes, she is dead, and her face is torn apart, revealing her bloodied skull, due to the beatings Red_Baron gave her.

"That was brutal" Detlik says, "But who was she?"

"Let's see here..." stoicsentry says as he reaches for a identification. "Her stage pass says..."

You awake for yet another day. Hopefully a shorter one this time around.

You gather by the stage once more, the body of nmillar decomposing uncontrollably. Perhaps you should relocate.

Nah, the corpse of nmillar and the remains of NotFrenchYet shall be a reminder of why you must find those responsible for the horror that has become of this once potential festival.

Well, surprise, surprise, someone is missing. And from the looks of it, more than one.

This is getting old, and near everyday occurances, but you still feel you must find the cadavers.

You search the camping area together, and soon you find not one, but two corpses, dressed in the exact same clothes, next to two identical tents.

Inspecting the bodies become priority, but you cannot stop thinking "What the hell is going on here?".

One of them has had his throat ripped out, while the other has a microphone sticking out of his mouth, and another microphone with it's bottom half appearing out of the carcass's throat. The camping ground is red with blood.

Both corpses wear what seem to be skimasks, and upon removal, you learn who they are.

Rodzaju has been killed! He was Peter Gabriel, solo artist and Mark Hutson, vocalist of Ten Masked Men (Survivor Doublevoter).

Well, that's two corpses, and by your calculations, two people were missing. There's just one thing that seems off.

You begin to move back to the stage area, but then you realise it. Krypsyn is gone too.

Having already scoured the camping area, you begin searching nearby areas. Not before long to you find a beach. There lies a corpse in the shore line

You drag the body in, noticing a torn part of a rope being tied about his legs.

You identify the body fast enough.

Krypsyn has been killed! He was Lord Angelslayer, bassist and vocalist of Archgoat (Town Vanilla)!

It appears he died by drowning. You quickly realise this is getting more and more serious. You have to find out who's responsible, and fast before it's your body that shows up next!

Day 3 has started!
With 10 alive, it takes 6 to lynch.

Oh yikes... I knew Rod was town since he's a doublevoter so the mafia had good reason to kill him off, but Krypsyn eh? Don't think there's a reason for the mafia to off him... so who's the serial killer?

So far all the town deaths are the vocalists of metal bands. I'm not sure if it's different for non-townies, but if all townies are in fact vocalists, then NFY's reveal of Detlik could mean Detlik is town.

Now I'm willing to bet there's at least one person who voted for NFY who's guilty of murder. I think I was kind of neutral on TB earlier... I'll have to take another look at his posts I guess. Stoic seemed to have disappeared once the drama started to unfold that led to the demise of NFY. Now I've been thinking and it's possible that if he's mafia he could have planted that seed and then just sat back and waited for the town to go nuts and make a wrong lynch only to pop back out once NFY was lynched. Besides he's just seemed... almost too town-like so far. I'm keeping an eye on him now. Not sure what to think of bazilisek, he seemed kind of out of it during the last little while.

So that went smooth. Several townies died, presumable all mafia members are still alive....and we keep lynching townies. Claim of NotFrenchYet was true...I am truly the person she said I am.

Now the problem is...who could be Mafia? Kinda obvious question, but everytime we decide its time to kick the bucket and just lynch someone we pick...well poorly.

@GoJays: that idea is very interesting... all the player corpses so far (except the Mod) were indeed vocalists.

Since this is getting a bit desperate now, I'm going to take a risk and point out what I think is a breadcrumb by Jefequeso in #1051. I'm struggling to make sense of it though.

Detlik, please stick around, we need all the input we can get!

Guilty as charged; since I launched #12, I really have not given this game my full attention. But I promise to change that – after a mandatory re-read of D2, that is.
