This is true, out of surveying a couple hundred folks who lost weight the only consistent behavior they found was 1 hour of exercise per day. For many of them walking was all they did.
tfishell: 2 - 3 hours is roughly the total amount of time I figure I'd need each day to exercise: 1) walking 3 miles each day + 2) swimming 1/2 an hour + 3) the time needed to prepare for both of these.
Luned: Walking? You put on good shoes and go, dude. Prep time should be under 5 minutes, and 3 miles should take 45-60 minutes. Walk one day and swim the next, mix it up for your muscles. It doesn't take much to begin to see a difference. It really doesn't have to be health versus grades, you can work on both!
So yeah, an hour, if you aren't body sculpting that should be enough.
Working out is never a bad thing, but do it for you, not for a woman. Honestly a nice pair of shoes and a good job will get your further than a hard body after enter your 30s.
AlKim: I am socially awkward, quiet and generally a bit crap. Still have a girlfriend though, because she took the initiative. It works that way as well, you know. Just a game of random chance and blind luck.
gameon: It sure feels like that. Well, this is an inspiration thread, and that has kept my spirits up. I just need that bit of luck. Hopefully i will get there in the end. I've waited long enough.
