orcishgamer: Hmm, cutting down to 2 mugs of coffee is rough. I think I'll feel better for it in the end though.
SweatyGremlins: look for
Roobois Tea, is red African tea with zero caffeine and high in Anti-Oxidants (help prevent cancers)
i drink green tea in morning then Roobois tea during day and night, i also recently stopped taking caffeine and you come good after some days\weeks and have more energy than with caffeine.
I woke up at 6am today, did stretching and pull-ups, is usually i am very slow in morning but i think removing caffeine from diet, drinking teas and taking good protein shake has given me energy.
If doing ANY exercise invest in protein supplement\shake, is very affordable and tasty but look for ones that can be consumed multiple times a day
do some research in this, whey protein is best and protein is necessary for any muscle growth to happen, also gives slow burning energy good for the day.
Hey thanks for this, I am down to one cup a day now (during my conference earlier this week I drank more because I was running on no sleep). I have been drinking a lot of Yogi herbal and green teas (they are a local hippe brand, but smell and taste amazing). I've heard a lot about Roobios I may try it out. I think I can usually do white or green tea (my rule is green before lunch, herbal after). On hot days I make unsweetened iced tea out of it, which beats a soda any day.
I've settled on Hemp protein actually (Manitoba brand, which is Canadian as you might surmise). Whey bothers my stomach. I do usually do veggie juice (juiced every morning) for breakfast. The protein is a quick snack or lunch.
I find I have way more energy after I exercise until bedtime, I try to do it in the morning but whimp out on some days and do it after work instead.
