ZFR: Not sure why so many people complain about the new In Development games. They've been using GOG's "in development" forums for years.

Habanerose: Well, at least these were / still are free. :P
Your Avatar makes me feel sad, please change it..

Emob78: I've got a great game concept, currently working on the early tech. I think a $5.99 price point would be good for early access.

What do you guys think of my design? Will people pay 6 bucks for it?

nightcraw1er.488: Don't sell yourself short there my friend, aim for around $40, maybe a 10% discount for pre-order, and don't forget to release it as chapters every 3 months or so, i.e. square first, then triangle, then circle.
Agreed. And if I scribble in a dinosaur standing on top of some acute angles I might be able to convince the jarheads that beta status is right around the corner. Of course I'll be pitching the idea to have circles added for the first DLC.
We need SpeedRunners here. Probably the best early acces for PC I've ever seen and it would be a great change to try the announced crossplay

higher points:

- great mutiplayer experience and a fresh idea (feels like a mix between 2d micromachines and spiderman?)
- great support by the devs (every month the game is updated based on bugs or problems found by the players)
- an ESL game, an e-sport!
- a lot of fun for local multiplayer too.

Sounds to me like you already have the sequel there, before you've released the first, extra cash man!

Touché, but I was thinking specifically of girlfriend upkeep.

Sure, sure, you could play the video game with your girlfriend and you could get a refund if she doesn't like it either!

Nope, you're sacrificing quality for speed now, as far as your comebacks go. You can do better.

True, true. Although, to be fair, I can't really figure out what one would purchase from one's own girlfriend.

No, see, the thing is that you unwittingly purchase the whole girlfriend/boyfriend/harem. A relationship has a cost. Of course, it can go both ways, since your partner(s) might also need/have/want to spend gold on you. All that goes down the drain if you're unsatisfied in the long term. Thus, the great need for a refund option! Simple.

Honestly, when you first made the refund comment, I thought you were talking about a prostitute.

But I wasn't! I'm full of surprises!
