Unless the latest version was released less than 8 hours ago, I do have the latest version.

Something weird happened while I was dowloading Bllodrayne with GOG downloader a couple of hours ago. All went smoothly for 1 hour, and then it stopped at 815/818 mo. It is still indicating in dowload, but the counter is at 0 ko/s since 2 hours.

Does it mean it is a corrupted file, or that the download server is quite down ?

PS : I have the latest dowloader version.

With version v0.9.0.1372 I finished downloading the Witcher EE and got all the files but the chunks for the last file weren't deleted.
Anyway, the installer passed the integrity check so it must be fine.

Not working for me either. Repeated e-mails to gog support go unanswered, as usual.

Seems The Witcher/Witcher2 may be taking a pounding atm (funny that).
Other games seem to be DL'ing fine through downloader, so it may not be the downloader. Check your games.

On a personal note you guys are really negative. It's a character trait that may go uncommented on when you sit in your bedroom but in life it wont get you far at all.

It copies them to a destination folder (Documents/GOG.com Downloads) on my PC. You should be able to use an sd card to copy it over to the other PC, and go online for the last 100 Meg, it should see that you ahve some files and not re-download them. I just D/L'd Dragonsphere and it created the setup file and left it there, so it's quite likely that Witcher 2 will do the same if you have a really slow or no internet, but I'd see if anyone else knows for sure.

I can't seem to add any downloads to the downloader. Using Firefox 4, when I click on the "add game to downloader"-button, nothing happens (no error message or anything). Internet Explorer 8 gives me the error message "gogdownloader://the_witcher_2 is not a valid win32 application" when clicking "add game to downloader". I have the latest version of the downloader (0.9.0.1372) and the program itself is working (I can log in, change the download directory etc.) I am also aware of possible issues with Avira Antivir (which I am using) and disabling it doesn't help.
Any help would be appreciated!
P.S.: I'm running Win7 64 Bit and UAC is deactivated

I just solved that problem by running the GOGdownloader with 'run as administrator' it showed a litte error about the file not being digitally sign but it allowed me to start the download

I've had the same problem with Firefox and IE9. I got it to work by running the .exe within the WinRAR program, if I extract it and then run it, I get that error. I hope that helps.

The downloader is refusing to download The Witcher 2 if I am not using the PC.

I disabled hibernation, screen-saver, power-management, etc... (because I dislike them... I do that with all my machines).

But I left since the pre-download is available my PC turned on, yet it downloaded only 3GB (in a 150kb/s connection). I noticed that while I am using internet, it downloads at 150kb/s (thus making my navigation crap), and when I leave the PC, it stops downloading (thus forcing me to download while using the PC...)

When it stops downloading, I have to close it with control+alt+del (it refuses to go away on its own, when I right-click the icon and tell it to close, it freeze and refuse to turn off) and open it again. Then it starts downloading again, but as soon as I leave the PC idling, it downloads like 100MB and stops again.

Just going against the current and say:

The GoG downloader worked perfectly here and I download at the max of my connection speed (10 MB/s which is way way way way better than Steam)

I have downloaded The Witcher1 & 2 and Gothic II and Tyrian, all worked perfectly.

Well, as crazy as this solution sounded at first, it actually does work that way for me and the downloader now functions as it should!
Since I have already downloaded the first two packages through my browser I probably won't use the downloader for The Witcher 2 (4 Gigs already took me a good 10 hours with my crappy DSL 1000 connection ;-) ) but at least the whole thing is working now.

With the introduction of the new downloader it doesn't appear to be able to be used on Linux as easily, if at all, is there a way to use it on Linux? Thanks.

When I try to log in to the downloader, after entering my info the login screen goes away and comes up again immediately, saying login required. Any idea how to fix this? I've got version 0.9.0.1372 which appears to be the latest version.

I'm trying to look through this thread in case it's been addressed already but I'm not having any luck.
