And shame, i was hoping for the new version of the app with new features... App is stil beta, right? You said you're out of beta, so you should improve the downloader too ;)

And for christ sakes, air is cool, don't listen to the fools recommending flash and silverlight!

p.s. people, flash is almost the same as air, but standalone. I prefer air. And silverlight has a really bad adoption rate. I don't wanna install it at all.

glad to see its not just me having the problem. I thought it might have been a weird interaction with the beta of IE9 since you also can't scroll the popup boxes

if possible please don't use Adobe AIR anymore, it's a really shitty VM and the old downloader was full of bugs, even java would be a better choice

The best choice would be of course a little C++ client, even C# would be better but I suppose they could not want .net dependencies.

Adobe AIR is basically stand-alone Flash. And believe me that Flash virtual machine is even worse than the JVM.
It has a shitty, bugged, garbage collector and the runtime itself is very prone to bugs

You need to use a browser engine for HTML5 which should be IE9 (beta and does not work on XP) or Firefox 4 (beta) or Chrome.

Does anyone know when we could expect the donloader to work again? Just bought Baldur's Gate and was looking forward to some hours of old-school-RPG-awesomeness. Too bad my Internet connection is to unstable for downloading a 1.7 GB file through my browser...

I have the same problem - nothing is shown, even though I refresh the list.

So far I'm not terribly impressed with the new GOG. First the tactless PR stunt, then a forum and a site that don't work as well as they did in the so-called beta phase.

The option to add an item to the downloader queue is not showing up now, so I guess they're at least working on the problem.

Trying to download IL-2: 1946 but no luck :(
Still errors while downloading two 2 GB files (usually happens around 50 %), even if I use download managers (addons in Firefox) and 1 MB/s download rate. And there is no possibility to restore downloading...
Tried in IE and also the same (dies at some point).
Guys, I hope you are working on it :)

We really need the downloader back. a 384k connection always bombs on big downloads faster than the 10h required :(

some of he last sale games i got were expecting we would have the downloader(so we still don't have our games)
