The biggest announcement in GOG.com's history is a fact! Electronic Arts grants access to its deep back catalogue of classic franchises via yours truly GOG.com!

In a ground-breaking, earthshaking, and jaw-dropping deal we've managed to sign with EA and will be releasing more than 25 legendary classics from the globally renowned publisher. With today’s announcement three widely known and much awaited brands get the revival treatment from GOG.com: Wing Commander: Privateer, Dungeon Keeper and Ultima Underworld 1+2.

We will be adding more than 25 titles from EA over the next few months, so the games will be unveiled gradually, but we can already reveal that the next upcoming titles from this huge deal are: Crusader: No remorse, Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri and Magic Carpet.

While the agreement between Electronic Arts and GOG.com brings back many acclaimed and well known franchises, it doesn’t include the much anticipated System Shock or Syndicate series at this time. After releasing the first six Electronic Arts classics, we will take a break from the concentrated awesome until later in the summer.

nintendoguy64: When is Crusader o regret going to be up on GOG.com
Th rest of the games from EA will be released after the current summer sales. So possibly early fall maybe in August.

nintendoguy64: thanks
Keep an eye out for more sales though...we might get another big sale after this one ends, and even if we don't Gog usually has a weekend sale of smaller stature during the rest of the year every weekend, plus a gog gem promo where one game goes on sale every 1st and 3rd wednesday. And then there's new games possibly on tuesdays and thursdays as well.
I suggest adding Red Alert and Red Alert 2 to your library.

ThosePixels: I suggest adding Red Alert and Red Alert 2 to your library.
I think those are freeware, available from the maker's site. So gog probably won't get em. :\

But at least they're freeware on the dev's site. :)
Emperor: Battle for Dune is on my wishlist .
So yeah, I know I'm late to the posting party...but does anyone think we'll see The Immortal by the end of the year? After looking through the back-catalogue of EA and Origin, this game jumped out at me the most.

Emperor: Battle for Dune probably won't show up as EA does not have an active license for the Dune universe at present.

only the first is freeware,actually
any chance the wizardry series could appear, would make a good run and be fun to play again :}

beach_bum: Command and Conquer + American McGee's Alice....PLEASE???
And I still keep praying for system shock to a be a legit download, so I don't have to troll through the internet looking for patches for a cracked version.

FiatLux: For all of you craving for "American McGee’s Alice" & "Alice: Madness Returns" at GOG.com then I'll say that I do not think that the chance that we will see them here DRM free any time soon is great (especially NOT at low price!!!) , because I have just seen at EA's own Origin site that you can preorder the "American McGee’s Alice" & "Alice: Madness Returns" as a collection. It is shown at the front page as a flash animation ad.
Else search http://store.origin.com for keyword Alice
or see (more flash) : http://www.ea.com/alice
Didn't they say they were going to add more than 25 EA titles "over the next months"? There are about 20 weeks left in this year and we've only seen 6 releases so far. Either the GOG folks have a very unusual definition of "the next months" or they will have to start releasing at least one EA game per week from here on out.

who said 'the next months' need to be in this year? >.>
They also said summer holidays = break from EA games.

When they start up again, they'll do 2-3 a week. Or more. Just like the last batch.
