The biggest announcement in GOG.com's history is a fact! Electronic Arts grants access to its deep back catalogue of classic franchises via yours truly GOG.com!

In a ground-breaking, earthshaking, and jaw-dropping deal we've managed to sign with EA and will be releasing more than 25 legendary classics from the globally renowned publisher. With today’s announcement three widely known and much awaited brands get the revival treatment from GOG.com: Wing Commander: Privateer, Dungeon Keeper and Ultima Underworld 1+2.

We will be adding more than 25 titles from EA over the next few months, so the games will be unveiled gradually, but we can already reveal that the next upcoming titles from this huge deal are: Crusader: No remorse, Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri and Magic Carpet.

While the agreement between Electronic Arts and GOG.com brings back many acclaimed and well known franchises, it doesn’t include the much anticipated System Shock or Syndicate series at this time. After releasing the first six Electronic Arts classics, we will take a break from the concentrated awesome until later in the summer.
Wowsers! GoG has effectively infiltrated the evil empire!

I reckon not all of them are 100% evil! It looks like Bioware's sacrifice of most of their games from '07 till now being half-assed compared to their legacy games, wasn't for naught!

1st we take Manhattan, then we take Berlin!

Vitek: "ACCEPTANCE OF END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT REQUIRED TO PLAY"

So EA managed to get at least some consession from GOG side.

BlackChar: Just noticed it too. Can we have a copy of EULA *before* we buy those games?
Thirded. Seeing that EULA is rather important; if you've been forced to accept that minor tainting of the GOG experience, at least you can tell us what we're signing up for in advance . . .
OH MAN OH MAN OH MAN! Alpha Centauri all the way!

GOG...let's hope you are releasing Alien Crossfire and not just Alpha Centauri.

They mention that System Shock 2 won't be included, but will System Shock 1 be? It uses the underworld engine.
Ultrapwn.
I hope we will see Jane's Combat Simulations. I really want to play Jane's F-15 and USAF once again.

The EULA was uploaded earlier in the thread, and it's pretty harmless, mostly exactly the same as GOG's EULA (further down in the same license), with additions relating to use of data with online play and EA accounts.
After the count down finished. I waited about 15-20mins (mostly because I forgot about it) I went to gog.com and I got a page not found error 500. I could not help but give a little chuckle to that. Biggest announcement by gog ever. error 500.

Note: Yes I know it was either a browser issue on my part, or gog updating the site takes a few mins.
Ok GOG, exactly how much free time do you think I have?
If you plan to release Need for Speed: High Stakes, book me in. :P
25 games : so basically, who knows what we can expect them to be ?
Still, this is a huge score for GOG. Even I didn't really think it would be EA.
"Access to Software, Online Features And/Or Services. An EA Account, including the acceptance of EA’s online Terms of Service (http://terms.ea.com), the installation of EA Download Manager (or superceding download management software) as well as acceptance of the EA Download Manager (or superceding download management software) End User License Agreement, may be required to access the Software, online services and/or features and to download and apply Software updates and patches (if any)." - I think we can all agree this is a mindless copy-paste...

Also - I REALLY hope we'll get Alice ASAP, although I suspect they'd prefer to cash in on it being exclusive to their Collector's Edition first :|.
... wow.

Hoping for few games from now on.
