It ended in a 1:1 draw.In the last turn Dodo had the opportunity for a 2:1 Touchdown, but didn´t used it.
It looked as though he didn't realise it was the last turn of the game. He was positioning to prevent you from stopping him running over the line next turn.
I made a similar mistake in my game with Hawk. I had a skink with the ball 2 squares away & decided to wait for the next turn, rather than risk a go for it, despite having a reroll available.
Of course, Hawk flattened him!
Nice toss with the bomb. I love how the chaos warrior catches it & then stare at it for 40 seconds, as if trying to figure out how he got the ball before it blows up in his face!!!
I just watched all the replays - thanks for posting them!
It was blast to notice, that I am not the only person the dice hate at times :) Especially Hawkster's match and Modnigth Suckers match made me have few painful deja vu's.
What, no one spent their new year playing Blood Bowl? Why not?!!?
If anyone cleverer that me can make Youtube-able videos of the matches, you might want to edit out the standing around thinking time (or maybe not....) & definitely mute the commentary & make your own. I can try to suggest a commentary script, but it won't be very good....!!!
Hawk52: What happens if the other games don't get played by the 9th?
Ubivis: a draw, I would say... any other suggestions? If someone has 3 step outs in a row, kicked from the league?
I've never come up with anything better, but am concerned about being penalised because my opponent doesn't show.... I can also imagine an unscrupulous player that wants to avoid having his team mauled pulling a no show to avoid a match....
Having said that, we are halfway through the allotted time for the first day & half the matches have been played, so we seem to be right on schedule.
the only way to get around this would be to have fixed match times, when one of the players does not show up, the other one wins. If both do not show up, it is a draw.
But as we are spread all over the world (okay, most of us are in europe), it might be a bit difficult with fixed match times :)

Even though I'm in Europe, I have to keep pretty awkward hours. I'm sure I'm not that unique so set match times probably won't work. How about giving the outstanding players a bit of a prod to remind them that time is running out.

Same for me... I don't have any time during the week... only from Friday to Sunday and then depending on my wife going to bed (she hates it when I'm on the gaming PC, as this one is really noisy) and my son is in bed too :)
But how to proceed with the matches, when after the prod the match still did not happen?

Not something that you can enforce, I would think, but I would encourage players to chat at the beginning of the period. You may not be able to play right away, but you can give your opponent an idea of when you will be available.
