Oathe: Bought Indie Royal bundle been wanting to try Skyborn. Can't beat $1 for that plus 9 other games. Anyone know if they are revealing one game every day, or two every two days like last time?
avatar
shadowrgog: My email of the bundle had this to say for that question: We will be unlocking two games every two days or so and raising the price each time. You'll get all ten games whenever you buy the bundle and so for the best deal possible, buy early!

Also it had this: Eight of the games in this bundle are on Steam, one has been Greenlit and one is looking to get Greenlit. All are for Windows with two also on Mac and one on Linux. Two of the games have Steam Trading Cards.

Hope it helps! :)
Oh nice. Thank you. I wonder what the greenlit ones are...I can't stand all this waiting around for the reveals. I'm still content with Skyborn drm free for $1. Plus 9 other games 6 others dem free is pretty straight.

Nice, thanks for the heads up! My wife played Puzzle Quest ages ago and has wanted a copy since... I've never used Big Fish, but I just made an account, picked up Puzzle Quest 1 and 2 for a total of 3 bucks. Not bad! :)

DRM?

pigdog: DRM?
Big Fish uses its own client to download and activate the games. I've tried to move a couple of games to another machine and they can be executed without the client installed but I'm not sure it applies to every game.
Sorry folks, I thought that I had posted about Big Fish's free CE already! Whoops! *^_^* I can give plenty of recommendations, I just need to know what kind of casual games you like (although they DO have some true adventures there, if you prefer.)

The DRM, as madth3 mentioned, is Big Fish's game manager. You MUST download the games through their manager, but you can bypass the thing (once the games are purchased) by going into the game folder and making a shortcut to the game's .exe file.

EDIT: And you can get PuppetShow 1: Mystery of Joyville for FREE using the code BIGFISHCASINO :D

I'd be interested in any recommendations for true adventure games (not puzzle or hidden object).

Yeah, it's longer than I realized, too! lol~ Big Fish has removed some of the true adventures from their catalog, though, and some of those are adventure-lites.

I would recommend checking out the Drawn games. #1 is on Steam, but #'s 2 and 3 are not.

EDIT: You'll know the adventure-lites from the pure adventures by whether or not there's a demo available. Every game on Big Fish has a 1-hour demo EXCEPT for the pure adventures.
