amok: Steam have an Activision sale (http://store.steampowered.com/sale/acti_pub1) until May 5th, and part of this is the Space Quest Collection (http://store.steampowered.com/app/10110/) and Kings Quest Collection (http://store.steampowered.com/app/10100/) for £4.99 ($9.99) each.

Impaler26: They also have a few Star Wars games on sale for 66% off. I just tried to buy KOTOR and - BAM! - Steam servers are down. I love it when that happens! :D
I just bought entire SW 2014 collection - one of the best spend $17 this month :P

justanoldgamer: Anyone has played "Empire at War"? How is it?

Tomsm: The game is very cool!
Much better than Rome 2, in my opinion.
Very big map, new features and cool graphics.
Especially like the fact that you can make a revolution and a coup in the country)
lol. He was asking for the Star Wars game. Not the CA game.

Yes, and that is £24 here. I think there is some confusion somewhere... it may be in me.

Never played it but there are a ton of mods for it that (from what I hear) expand gameplay.

Funny how buying each game separately is much cheaper than buying the collection...
I was bummed when I couldn't find Star Wars Battlefront anywhere on Steam. I prefer it to the sequel because it runs nicer on my old hardware. There's some nice mod tools for it released by Pandemic as well. Then I found out they pulled the plug on multiplayer.

Anyone else here prefer SWBF to SWBF2? Anyone seen it in an online store?

Lol, you are right, what the hell is that? :)
Price of individual games: 9,98 euro.
Bundle price 18,99 euro.

Am I right to assume the DOS games on Steam are DRM free, ie I can copy their installed folder and just use them without Steam?

They just didn't mark down the collection. This happens sometimes.

What's better is when it's not on sale. It's regular at Wal-Mart that I see $1.99 or 2 for $4!

A trap? ;p
The difference is almost half the price here... too bad I'm broke.

Typical steam... considering that I already have Kotor 1&2 I can be picky... as steam doesn't provide giftable copies for games that you own anyway. That being said is Empire at war worth 7 euros?
