Luisfius: Restarted steam a bunch of times and did not get a single coupon :(
You want one? I'm not buying AC:R until it goes down to three bucks or something. :P

I think it only work if you have the corresponding Ubisoft titles. I have AC 1 and AC 2, so I get two AC:R coupons everytime I log on.....or maybe they already fixed the bug.

jamyskis: The Bard's Tale €5 on Steam.

I'm not particularly Steam-inclined, and I paid €5 five years ago for it, but it's a superb game, so can encourage everyone to go for it.

Just a brief idea of the humour for anyone who doesn't know the game:

This looks really good. Never heard of it...

Most likely references Bioware's set up and/or serial key, but you can ask them to confirm. It certainly doesn't mean Steam as Steam is now directly referenced on applicable product pages as "Steamworks (Requires a 3rd party download and account)".

It's the "bioware social thingy". I don't know if its online activation or always online. And it "only" affects the DLCs. It's no extra client, but it runs within the game. I've never noticed it, but I played the first on Steam and the second on Origin anyway.

It's serial key, but not sure which kind of serial key though. I hope it's not Origin.

Neither DA:O nor DA 2 "needs" Origin to run. They can be activated as an additional method of installing, but I played my Origin version of DA 2 plenty of times without Origin running. But they do check, at least on startup, your "bioware account" for the DLCs, Origin or not.
GamersGate:

Saints Row The Third 50% off (DLC is also 50% off)

Dawn of War II Gold Edition 50% off

And many other games like , [url=http://www.gamersgate.com/DD-TQPACK/titan-quest-gold-edition-bundle?caff=3141791]Titan Quest, Company of Heroes

So does that mean it still activates via Origin though?

Those in the UK should be careful as they don't seem to be on sale in the UK but the game guides are and at first glance the game guides look just like a normal game page. If you search for Dragon Age Origins it also just says Dragon Age Origins: Ultimate Edition. Shame as I might've been willing to give the game a second go for that price.
Daily Deal on Gamers Gate:
Saints Row 3 €24.98
+DLC's on sale:
Saints Row the Third - Genkibowl VII DLC Pack €2.75
Saints Row the Third - Gangstas in Space DLC Pack €2.75

AFAIK all EA games released since 2010 can be activated on Origin. for older EA games you can try asking their support. i hear they are really helpful with activating your games on Origin, but i've never tried it myself.

I mean the serials referred to - are they Steam or Origin activateable (is that even a word??). ?

BTW - I know weird place to ask, but which of the DLC for Mass Effect 2 are worth purchasing (via Bioware store) ?

Yay, more regional bullshit. None of the Dragon Age games are available in my region and Saints Row 3 is only 10% off. The DLC is 50% off though.

Oh well, I guess I should be content with getting the THQ bundle before they fixed the price.
