GamersGate Daily Deal: Super Power 2 for 2.99 $/€ (70% off). The game is DRM free.

It's a political simulation game on a global scale. The concept seems very interesting, though several reviews warns of bugs and incompleteness. Other reviewers seem to have liked the game the lot though, so at this price point it might be worth a look.

AFnord: That is really odd. Sounds like you encountered some kind of bug. There are very durable enemies in the game, but all the basic troops have the same stats as yours, so a level 1 orc under your control is no different from a level 1 orc under the control of the enemy.

kavazovangel: The point is, my units were level 3-4, and the enemies' units were level 13-14... On almost all maps... A map that was supposed to take a hour to clean, took 3-4 hours. Which is why I couldn't take it any more, and started using cheats.
It still sounds like you did something wrong, your enemies should never outlevel you by that much (or much at all, for that matter).

You don't even need a fake address, I used my real one, only the country was fake (US). Also I just downloaded and played a bit, looks fun.

Well then I don't know what wrong I did. :D I was playing the game regularly, never lost a mission. And it is not like you can choose other paths, the game's campaign is linear.
Steam daily deal is And Yet It moves:

75% off means £1.99 here. Highly recommended platformer with a unique style. The selling point is that you control the character and rotating the environment at the same time.
Got that in the humble bundle awhile back. I wish they would put Bit Trip Beat on sale, so I could use my 50% off coupon.

To be honest, that game is pure BS. Bad design, bad art-style and horrible shoddy controls. Imo, this game runs on the "all indies are good"/"hipster" train. It isn't even unique, but just poorly implemented. This is, next to Bittriprunner, one of the worst indie games I've played. And I'm easy to impress and love indies. I gave it an honest and good try for the achievement, but that game is beyond hope. It is somewhat less excruciating if you mute it though.

Only because something is "artsy" you can't just avoid baisc game design and playtesting. Definitely try the demo first, if you want to waste precious lifetime.

I liked it, it was one of my best platformer last year. I even liked the minimalistic sound design. I liked the whole concept of rotating the environment and the puzzles made out of it.

I do not agree that the game design is bad though, different maybe, but not bad. It is tight and precise and a little bit challenging (especially if you try for different achievements), but all the challenges is overcoming.

I can see how it might not be everyone's cup of tea though, so yes, try the demo. Another of the gaming worlds Marmite?

I have to agree. I tried the game for about an hour before giving up, and the whole time I couldn't stop noticing how pretentious it felt. It kept coming off as being better than it actually was, and it was really off-putting to me, unfortunately.
Renegade Ops + 2 DLC (5 copies) ~$8.75

Deus Ex HR Augmented is $10 at Amazon. Much cheaper than the $13 on Steam.
