If you like driving games, yes.

If you like the previous real time strategy games of the series (Victoria 1, Europa Universalis, EU Rome, Hearts of Iron) then of course it is worth getting. If you like the period but prefer turn based strategy, Paradox has Pride of Nations at 50% off from Steam.

A quick search says there's no Paypal limit as long as your account is verified and in good standing.

If you're talking about buying from GamersGate, Steam, etc., while Paypal (with a verified account) won't limit the number of purchase you can make in a 24 hour period, those sites do. GamersGate allow up to three separate purchases* IIRC and Steam probably about the same amount.

* This is not three separate games, but three separate purchasing sessions.

Yup. It's part of their fraud protection.

Oh, you do him a disservice. He's had practice with plenty of villains over the years, notably Dr. Robotnik in SatAM. Big and round, but not quite so lovable. :)

Probably because it has such disgracful DRM that nobody wants it.

But it's probably more to do with Arkham city coming out soon :P

Victoria 2 is good if you like Paradox games like Europa Universalis. It's more focused on the economy side of things than on other aspects of strategy.

OTOH, it also still has some problems and isn't as good as it could be. That will likely be solved with patches and an expansion, but it might be wise to wait until then.
GamersGate has some great The Sims deal .
There are some discounts on the Total War series on Gamersgate. I have never played these games before, but I'm interested. Are any of them particularly better or worse than the others?
