Foxhack: Rift at Steam (US): $33.49
Rift at GreenManGaming: $24.99

worlddan: Thanks for this tip. The difference is that the one at Steam comes with a bonus pack and the one at GMG does not. Steam also has a Collector's Edition for $40.

I'm really on the fence here. Long time WoW player but I kinda like to try Rift just to say I tried it (same way I felt about LOTRO). $25 isn't too bad considering that even today the basic WoW game is $20 unless you get it on one of Blizzards rare sales. OTOH hand S25 is still two months of my Wow subscription.
I've been playing Rift since late beta and I'm loving it. First time I have ever taken out a six month sub on an MMO. Would have done longer if it was available.

I have played a lot of them, so I am not easily impressed. Of course YMMV.

I try to only buy steamworks games at other places if I can anyway, but the few games I have on capsule worked fine so far I think.
Nice Deus Ex: IW deal, thanks.

PincushionMan: These (lifted directly from GamersGate page):
A permanent internet connection is required to play the game.

Translation: UbiDRM, where a portion of the game code runs on their servers.

bansama: Again, as I mentioned earlier, this requirement was dropped the same time it was dropped for AC2. GamersGate just haven't updated the store page.
I looked it up, and it looks like, according to these and [url=http://www.shacknews.com/article/67015/ubisofts-drm-no-longer-requires]those guys, that it *is* patched out. But you have to have an active connection every time you launch the game. Still too much for me. What happens when they release the next version or two? Will I have to go to shady site to play the game I bought? No sale, thanks.

They also haven't promised that they won't use it again. So UbiSoft is still less desirable for me. Now, if SS:Conviction becomes $1 or $3 - that would be a fair rental price.
Gamepulse:

Daily deal : Space Rangers 2 Complete 50% off .

QFT!
My thoughts exactly.
Bit annoyed COnviction still requires some form of Restrictive UbiDRM, but I got it for 99p in GAME today.

They've marked down the PC copies to 99p, though most are gone in many stores, and the rest likely grabbed by staff today or tomorrow.

http://www.getgamesgo.com/Product/just-cause-2
but you can't pay with paypal and they don't work for alot of people (5 people I know have had their cards refused by them)
today on the menu of Gamersgate:
Lunnye Devitsy $1.12
http://www.gamersgate.com/DD-LD/lunnye-devitsy?caff=1869351

Precursors, Starforce DRM $14.98
http://www.gamersgate.com/DD-PREC/precursors?caff=1869351

UFO Extraterrestrials DRM Free $2.99
http://www.gamersgate.com/DD-UFOET/ufo-extraterrestrials?caff=1869351

Strange section:
They are Alive $6.98 probably DRM Free
http://www.gamersgate.com/DD-TAA/they-are-alive?caff=1869351

If you like wacky games like Rat Hunter, Chaser or You are Empty and the likes, with a hint of Condemned Criminal Origin but not nearly half the intensity - judging from the videos on the web. I am pondering on this one.

BTW Rat Hunter is also on sale, too: $3.98 DRM Free
http://www.gamersgate.com/DD-RH/rat-hunter?caff=1869351

I cannot recommend Steam Slug, though. This is just bad. I am really not picky with the AI but THIS is unacceptable.
Cheers
