I've been playing Rift since late beta and I'm loving it. First time I have ever taken out a six month sub on an MMO. Would have done longer if it was available.

I have played a lot of them, so I am not easily impressed. Of course YMMV.

I wanted to buy Ninja Blade, but that DRM they have scares me.

I try to only buy steamworks games at other places if I can anyway, but the few games I have on capsule worked fine so far I think.

I looked it up, and it looks like, according to these and [url=http://www.shacknews.com/article/67015/ubisofts-drm-no-longer-requires]those guys, that it *is* patched out. But you have to have an active connection every time you launch the game. Still too much for me. What happens when they release the next version or two? Will I have to go to shady site to play the game I bought? No sale, thanks.

They also haven't promised that they won't use it again. So UbiSoft is still less desirable for me. Now, if SS:Conviction becomes $1 or $3 - that would be a fair rental price.

Bit annoyed COnviction still requires some form of Restrictive UbiDRM, but I got it for 99p in GAME today.

They've marked down the PC copies to 99p, though most are gone in many stores, and the rest likely grabbed by staff today or tomorrow.

If you like wacky games like Rat Hunter, Chaser or You are Empty and the likes, with a hint of Condemned Criminal Origin but not nearly half the intensity - judging from the videos on the web. I am pondering on this one.
