I FINALLY managed to play and finish Half Life 2. Starting Ep1 tommorow. Great game, but not a 95 IMHO. Some of the levels are REALLY boring, but nothing is as offensive as Xen. Still. I think the BEST levels in HL1 are better than the BEST levels in HL2, for the most part.
lukaszthegreat: In whole year you completed only ME?
Yup. But then I generally work from 16 to 18 hours a day (and sometimes longer). So I tend to start a lot of games but tire of them due to time it takes to complete them. Especially when I can go weeks without the time to even look at a game, by which time I've forgotten what was going on and wind up abandoning it until another time.

first thing: you are crazy. not sure what are you dong but 16-18 hours workday will costs you a substantial amount of your life. i would say a decade min. maybe even 30 years as you will get a heart attack at age 50. second thing: you always complain that some games are not being sold on steam in Japan. why would you care if you don't really play them?

Crazy or not, it's a necessity. But I very much doubt translating/coding for all that time is going to lead to a heart attack anymore than say, watching TV or playing games for the same amount of time will. As for your second question, I may not get to play games as much as I'd like to right now, but one day I will. Besides which, I'm not the only person in Japan to use Steam...

for 18 hours a day? it would hurt your lifespan. greatly.
Very sure remembering how the Japanese Internet exploded when they found MW2 to be region locked based on IP (which by the way, it *still* is). Seems SquareEnix couldn't be arsed with a PC release after all.

Perhaps, perhaps not. But given that Japan has one of the highest expected life spans for both men and women and that most Japanese work far harder and far longer than I, I don't think I'm going to worry so much about how long I may or may not live. Especially as I could very well simply get squashed by a bus or whatever regardless of how much or little I work.

bansama: Does Japan have the highest death by overwork or something rate?
I've completed all the Tales of Monkey Island-games, maybe the two that are already listed could be replaced with Tales of Monkey Island: Season One. Also, Casebook Episodes 1-3. Not really that good. Looking at my list, it seems I've also forgotten to mention Brutal Legend.
lukaszthegreat: edit: btw. if i missed something check your name on the list on front page and let me know kay?
Aren't you including console games? If so, you forgot to add LEGO Star Wars 1 for me. So please do, I must increase my e-peen. Bring on the list for 2010! Good work Lukasz

Ah, thanks. =) I was very disappointed with my list.. Very few games actually finished. Whatever you do, don't start a "games installed but not finished in 2010" thread. ;)
