Regenmann: metro exodus got an update yesterday here on gog. can anyone tell me if the windows versions of steam and gog are now at the same update level?
GOGs version is now 3.0.8.37 - don't know about Steam though.
This was the reply I just got from Numskull Games concerning the Battle Axe 1.1 update.

"Hello,

Thanks for your email regarding Battle Axe and apologies for the delay in the reply.

The GOG build will be updated soon. We’re waiting on a build from the developers who have been a little snowed-under coming into 2023, figuratively. :)

Best wishes,

Samuel Elphick"

EnforcerSunWoo: ...the Battle Axe 1.1 update.
Battle Axe has been updated on Galaxy to version 1.0.4. It now contains the new casual mode. It's a difficulty setting.
Now waiting for the offline installer. :)

I wish all of them were this easy. Way too many abandoned games around here yet... Would be nice to close up this gap that seems to get wider each day. At least it is another that nobody has to worry about.

Is anyone able to confirm if Final Vendetta is also missing several patches? I do not own the game and cannot comment on the state of it.

The GOG version was released 20 days after the Steam version's latest update, so it should be up-to-date. Keyword "should".

I am well aware of that and it doesn't confirm anything. I asked because of this post:

By the way, I can advise on how to find now, without any problems, information about where to play at the casino. I had a very hard time finding it, but luckily here https://pokiesman.com/ I found all the information I needed. I hope that you will be helpful and I was able to help you with these matters. Good luck and success.

Well in general "soon" is a stretchy term, and a year is coming.
Final Vendetta is up to date, as per the devs. While the offline installer update for Battle Axe is still MIA, hopefully that happens this week yet.
Interesting thread. Thanks!
what i'm wondering is: will the delisted games on gog in the library still continue to be updated for buyers when the developers release updates? In other words, are the games also directly obsolete on gog due to the delisting and are only available to buyers for download etc. in the latest purchasable version?

From past experience, it depends (on the publisher, usually). Some continue to be updated, some do not.

ok thanks for the answer. so then it doesn't really make a difference if listed or not, since some games don't get updates that are (still) sold on gog.
