Mr.Mumbles: With or without Pooh bear easter egg? ;)
Well in their twitter announcement they say "The content and the price of the re-release remains the same". So who knows?

But if I had to guess, I'd say they removed that. Wasn't that the cause for the game to be delisted in the first place?

Likely without, as the last update before the game was removed from Steam, patched out the Easter egg.
Devotion is no longer coming to GOG

Nor GOG
I didn't even know about the game, now I do. Way to get more exposure lol.
'Gamers' from one country. Does CDPR have it's balls grasped by China?

On a lighter note, CyberShadow now has a release dat! Jan 26th.

Honestly that's a pretty big BS, since when "receiving messages from Gamer" is enough for them to remove a game ? It's not like the game was containing anything "controversial" apart from the Winnie the poo non-troversy.

Apparently not offending a dictator is more important than selling games.

The epic store is owned by chinese investors (or so I've been told). Ever since GOG announced its "partnership" with the epic store I've been suspecting that they've some sort of stronger "ties" with China.
Again, this is just my suspicion. Never seen anything which could prove my theory.
Political correctness during winter sale? GOG are You stupids or what?,, many gamers,, How many?5, 10,15?All with red star on the head?

I don't know this game, but I hate it when companies say "After receiving many messages from gamers, we have decided not to list the game in our store."

Aside from it being a select few gamers that will have sent messages (whilst we here at the forum generally get ignored, and we are actually GOG users unlike the messages like most likely got on Twitter.)

They also didn't explain why, but upon searching it turns out the game was also removed from Steam due to a backlash from Chinese players due to a controversial reference to Xi Jinping.

I'd say its likely the same reason that GOG have blocked it.

Oh, bother.
As of now the removal of Devotion seems politically motivated. If GOG is going to bend over for censorship like this then that's the end of my support. If more information comes out however, I'll be happy to take it into account.

Things like this always start small, but before you know it they're coming for things YOU like. but by then it's too late. Very disappointing. I guess they weren't really serious about regaining consumer confidence?

Ignore those "gamers" and put Devotion back on.
