rodrolliv: Coelocanth recently found this regarding NWN2 & GOG

http://www.gog.com/en/forum/general/interesting_tidbit_re_nwn2_maybe_coming_to_gog

it's vague but it's something
It's more than nothing! I think its well worth mentioning in this topic. Thanks for the hint.

If this is ok, then I'll add this

about that Stasis game I wrote before.

This is a good idea, +1. I'm still waiting to hear back from a few publishers and developers so I'll post here if any of them respond in the affirmative. You could also add release dates where applicable, with a note that it may not be definite, of course. Hotline Miami will be released Tuesday, Oct. 23 on GamersGate, Steam, and GetGames, so it only makes sense it would be released here on that date as well.
Where on the Kickstarter pages does it say that SpaceVenture and Tex Murphy are coming to GOG? I only found references to GOG credits for the classic games that are already here.

I think that this is enough for now. We know that it was GOG who initiated the contact, so they are interested in releasing Stasis here. Added it to the list.

I think that you are right - I took the GOG.com info on their Kickstarter pages as a sign of cooperation when it comes to the kickstarted projects, but it was only about giving credit and codes for the classic games, already available here on GOG.

With some kind of relationship already established I think that it is highly plausible, that the new games will appear on GOG, but now we have no info about this, so I've removed both games from the list.

But SpaceVenture's Kickstarter page says that it will come to GOG. In the FAQ, under the question "Is the game truly gonna be DRM FREE?" they respond "Yes! We plan to make the game as available as we possibly can by using services like GOG.com in order to make that reality!"

GOG can still say no.

Aaaand it's back! LOL, my research sucks :-) Nice find there with the FAQ section. Having learned a lesson I've updated all the sources to be as specific, as possible.

Of course, but having the developer/publisher on board is IMHO the key factor here. If only LucasArts had the same attitude as Two Guys From Andromeda...

Like Xenonauts? Good luck waiting on that GOG release.

I would only put games up there that are actually confirmed and not planned. But you are the boss, of course

I agree that everything can easily go to hell when both parties start negotiating the details of cooperation. But I think that as of today the info we have is in favour of a GOG release, which is a more probable outcome.

After reading the FAQ section again I also think that their statement can be interpreted in a way, that they want to make the game as available as possible (i.e. retail, Steam, GG, Amazon etc.), but one of the confirmed platforms of distribution is GOG.com.

Of course if anything changes in the future, I'll update the list with the new data.
Divinity II: Developer's Cut.

Is there a difference between the Director's Cut and the Developer's Cut?

No, it's just news-reposters taking liberties with the press release, and me critically failing a reading check. Corrected.
Moebius should appear on GOG when time comes.

Besides Moebius, what will I get? -- One game -- Moebius -OR-- Mystery Game X, free as PC or Mac download, DRM free and/or on Steam or GOG (depending on which of those platforms accepts Moebius after beta).
