Edit: Just to be clear, this is a list of games not yet available on GOG, and isn't meant to imply all of them have been rejected.

You and me both, pal.
Wait, GOG really rejected both Axiom Verge and Skullgirls? Why? Both of those games are pretty popular.

Because they are too niche and mediocre at best? :P

Except they didn't. I can't find anywhere where GoG rejected Skullgirls or Axiom Verge but I can find a post talking about Skullgirls and how Steamworks is essential to their multiplayer. I see how Axiom Verge has talked about "eventually" releasing a DRM-free version on GoG. I can find posts by Jonathon Blow talking about how he didn't like GoG's contract.

The problem is Barry keeps trying to convince people that all these games have been rejected by GoG when this isn't exactly true. It's not even clear all these developers really want to go DRM-free. Skullgirls has some sort of Anti-piracy popup that shows up in pirated copies.

For the most part , the developers who are complaining about being rejected really aren't selling many copies on Steam either...
Skullgirls released DRM-free on Humble Bundle, didn't it?

That sucks, and I kept wondering why Skullgirls hasn't came to GOG yet.

Here's the problem I have. You keep listing a whole bunch of games in this thread (and others) and make the claim GoG rejected all of these without any proof whatsoever.

Even Amok...look show me where it was rejected...I searched, can't find any mention anywhere where it is stated One Finger Death Punch was actually rejected by GoG.

Many of these publishers are happy just releasing one build on Steam. They use Steamworks and that is all. They want leaderboards in their games. They don't want to strip the multiplayer out of their games just for GoG. Some fear DRM-free

But all this incorrect information is creating cynicism.

The Fall of the Dungeon Guardians IS "too niche". It's not selling well on Steam either. Along with almost any number of the other games where developers claim to have been rejected by GoG.

So in a thread about "second chances", how about asking the developers to submit them to GoG for the first time...

When I say a game is rejected I offer proof (developer tweets, blog posts, emails, etc.), otherwise I refrain from that term.
