I would like to see the old classic "Beast & Bumpkins".
* all the blue byte battle isle games, including (especially) the incubation games
* blade of darkness
* starship troopers (the strategy game, not the fps)
* whiplash / fatal racing
* ascendancy
* master of magic
thats all i can think of right off the top of my head :)

gammon: I'm going to throw my support behind Wizardry 8 - I can't find my CD's for this anymore, and I have a desperate desire to play through the game again. I really can't believe only 3 other people have nominated Wizardry as well, come on guys :P.

yes, wizardry 8 here too! i accidentally stepped on and snapped one of my disks for W8 a year or so back :( i almost cried...
Well by now I have no idea what has been said already and am unwilling to read 25 pages to find out but here is a few I would like:
Microsoft Frelancer
Sanitarium
Alpha Centauri
The Homeworld series (although 2 angers me, but has some good mods to save it)
The Deus -Ex series
The Longest Journey
Grim Fandango
Impossible Creatures
Rise of Nations
Planescape: Torment
System Shock series
Shogun and Medieval Total War+expansions
Mechwarrior series
Black and White
Doom series (except 3)
there are more of course but I can't think of them right now. I could make an even longer list for console games......

Delphine Soft.
Flashback
came out in 1993, awesome platformer
Jill of the Jungle
Planescape torment
Planescape torment
Planescape torment
what about the Outpost Series from Sierra? I really liked the second one, though it seems to have some bugs that made it almost impossible later in the missions.
What about Spaceward Ho! I think that was a sierra game too. Love to see that.
Crusader: No Remorse
Crusader: No Regret
Wing Commander 1-Prophecy
Privateer 1 & 2
Arcanum. If you can get Planescape and the Bioware games, that's cool too, but mostly Arcanum. This is easily the best RPG that even most people at the time didn't play.
Also any Might and Magics or Heroes of Might and Magics that might be appropriately aged.
But probably these have all been said, thread is is a little teal.
25 pages are a bit much to wade through, so apologies if these have already been posted. Perhaps, the original OP can update his post to reflect the many wants ?

I second, Quarantine 1 & 2, the Carmageddon series (mainly #2), and the System Shock series. I would LOVE to have Heavy Gear 2 as well. I have the disk I actually own it, but it screws up because of Win XP. PLEASE bring me "Heavy Gear 2" GOG!
Jones In The Fast Lane really needs to either be remade or "GOG'd"
2 more games have come to mind:
The 7th Guest
The 11th Hour
