WOW! 86 pages!
I'd like to see most of the Star Trek games. Specifically:
Starfleet Academy
Klingon Academy
Dominion Wars
Birth of the Federation
New Worlds
Just voted for all the Legacy of Kain Series. :)
More votes for anything made by MicroProse please!!
Jack in the Dark made by the same people who made Alone in the Dark...
Would love Baldur's Gate series, IceWind Dale series, NeverWinter Nights series and Planescape torment.
X-Wing/Tie Fighter games
etc... etc...
Betrayal At Antara
Baldur's Gate trilogy
Planescape: Torment
+1 to Jazz Jackrabbit series
Voted for Omikron: The Nomad Soul and Sanitarium. Two awesome and awesomely overlooked games.
Cossacks 2: Gold Edition
While part of me thinks this thread should be closed down because GoG's wishlist page pretty much makes this useless, the other part loves how this thread has over 1,600 replies and is a prime example of the size of GoG's community.
It would be great if you guys could work your magic on Return Of The Phantom, cd version.
I heard that the cd version is fully voiced, but I could never get it to work on XP or Vista.
Thanks.
I would really like to see Turok: Dinosaur Hunter and Turok 2: Seeds of Evil added. They already exist on the PC, but they've never been optimized for a PC release back then, and on today's hardware they don't run well at all, they often bug and crash probably related to the usage of very old DirectX versions (just a guess, but I know it's very old, DH was released in 1997 and SoE in 1998 if I'm not mistaken).
If the engineers at GOG could work their magic and make them both work great (especially in Vista x64) then I would gladly pay up to $30 or $40 for them, they were classics, and in my opinion badly underrated especially on the PC version (exactly due to the lack of optimizations from Iguana Entertainment). Please do consider them, I've given my vote for both in the Games Wish List, but I know it won't suffice, unfortunately.
Um, I can think of a few old games that I would like to see run better with XP....
Wizards and Warriors
Might and Magic 7
Final Fantasy 7
X-Com (all of em, but 1 the most)
Mech Warrior (any of em)
and it minght be in the wrong place, but we probably could use some kind of software to make these games appear with black bars on the sides for those of us with widescreen monitors that do not have a 1:1 pixile ratio option, cus the stretch most these games get is awefull.
The Journeyman Project series!
Journeyman Project Turbo
Journeyman Project: Pegasus Prime
The Journeyman Project 2: Buried in Time
The Journeyman Project 3: Legacy of Time
Attachments:
Dungeon Keeper II
Grim Fandango. Definitely Grim Fandango.
