Old school RPGs such as Might & Magic (VI, VII and VIII for instance) would be a great addition. Commandos series, Ecstatica (I & II), System Shock saga or Dark Earth are also good old games.
One game to rule them all! OUTCAST

ethanpd: I'd like to see games from publishers that are long since gone. It would be cool to see good games that never made it and we probably never heard of because of bugs or bad marketing.
One example would be "The Hive," made by Rainbow America and Trimark Interactive, companies that have been long dead. The game was a rail shooter with a twist, where certain sequences in the game allowed you to stand still and pan around your character in 360º, where you had to shoot at enemies that might be coming at you from all sides. It was very fun and pretty difficult. It also works fairly well if you happen to have one of those high-end light guns for the PC. But I can only get this game to work properly to work in Windows 98, which is annoying because I have to pull my old CRT monitor out of storage, since my Windows 98 machine doesn't work on my 30" LCD.

I like this idea. Make a section just for them! the 'games you have never head, until now' section......
I'd like to see Planescape Torment, never got a chance to play it.
It would be great to add following games:
Planescape Torment - not very original wish, but more users demanding it = slightly bigger propability :-)
Wings of Destiny - great flight sim by Psygnosis from 1998
No One Lives Forever 2 - not so old, but absolutely sold out in Czech Republic, and i missed it :-(
Gothic 1 - by Piranha Bytes/Jowood, doesn´t need any commentary :-)
Spirit of Speed 1937 - oldtimer car sim, by Hasbro/Microprose, I was too young to buy it when it came out.
Anachronox - Eidos/Ion Storm, I already own this one, I can recommend it to everyone because of its great story, funny cutscenes and propably the best looking Quake2 engine graphics.
Konung and Konung 2 - (by 1C/Strategy First) don´t let yourselves confuse by those Gamespot losers (3.5 out of 10 for Konung), they hate rough games from eastern Europe. For example, it got 75/100 by czech PC Gamer magazine... I lost my CD quite long time ago, but it was one of my favourite RPGs
even If just one of these wishes come true, I would be verry happy....

A couple of RPG's that I never got a chance to play:
Icewind Dale
Baldur's Gate II
These have already been mentioned but I want to add my YAY as well :)
'Worms'
'Grim Fandango'
'Blade Runner'
'Star Trek 25th Anniversary'
Ones that haven't been mentioned but I adore:
'The Lost Files of Sherlock Holmes: The Case of the Rose Tattoo'
'Ripper'
'Simon the Sorcerer I & II'
'Theme Hospital'
'Starfleet Academy'
'Star Trek: Elite Force I & II'
1. Carmageddon + Splat Pack - I'll shed a tear of joy if this game makes it on here.
2. Heavy Gear 1
3. Interstate 76
Syndicate Wars
Donald Duck in Cold Shadow (or Maui Mallard or whatever)
Blood
Mageslayer
Duke3D
System Shock 1 and 2
Planescape: Torment
Baldur's Gate + expansion
Icewind Dale
Interstate '76
Can't be mentioned enough. I have this game somewhere but I will buy it again it added here. I love that game.
Star Trek: Birth of the Federation
Please come out with the one and only Max Payne! It's not exactly old, but it's a destined classic.

it is on steam
no reason for gog to compete with it.
what about Jack Orlando?

Harermuir: I surely like to see available freedom force and freedom force vs the third reich. They are not that old (2002 and 2005), but they still the best superhero game around.
That was developped by irrationnal games and published by crave and EA for the first opus, and published by focus home interactive for the second.

I second this. I already own them both but I'd buy a new copy of the FFvs3R just so that I don't have to put up with Starforce.
Most of what I would want has already been posted, such as Dungeon Keeper/2 and Grim Fandango, but what I would really like are two games that I'm not even sure would be possible to put on here.
Creatures 2 - Mindscape
The Nations - JoWooD Productions
Neither seem to work in Vista and I'm sure that would be a problem, but I can hope, can't I?
