Howdy, folks. I'm here to carry on the tradition which Klumpen0815 started, and also host it to give him a chance to enter himself.

I'm adopting all of the rules from the last one, which are:
1. You must submit a picture, copy, or recording of a piece of art in any quality or form. Tunes, paintings, drawings, games, mods, carvings, writings, poems, whatever.
2. The game must be made, or at least finished, between the first and last of January, 2016, by yourself.
3. Hand-made things are preferred, but other entries are welcome as well.
4. Your account must be registered in or before October, 2015.

The competition ends on February 1st, 2016.

You may choose your prizes from this list and this list (posts 365 and 10097).

First Prize: 3 games
Second Prize: 2 games
Third prize: 1 game

People's Choice: 1 game or an honorable mention
People's Choice Second Place: honorable mention
People's Choice Third Place: honorable mention

The first prize winner gets first choice, People's Choice winner gets second choice, second prize winner gets third choice, and third prize winner gets last choice, as far as the order in which the games will be distributed. Please mention in your post what games you're interested in to ensure they are not gifted/traded away.

Following in the steps of Sachys' rage-filled doodle giveaway, I include not a strict rule, but a HEAVY encouragement to still submit a piece of art even if you're not in. The purpose of this giveaway is for you to be creative and have fun. Also, I've decided to include a People's Choice option. For every entry (vote later if you're one of the first and there aren't enough people yet), whether in or not in, please vote for your favorite entry (no, not your own, you system-rigging smart aleck). I'll keep track of the votes, and at the end, the person with the most will get a prize if they were in or an honorable mention if they were not in. I may or may not change the prizes a bit depending on the amount of activity and after some discussion with Klumpen.

I don't have anything to share at the moment aside from this bump. I'm really surprised that this thread isn't getting more attention, but hopefully that will change soon.

Here is a story or sort of poem I came up with. Note- the story is not about me. Just an imagination.

There was once a rich and successful man,
One day he remembered a childhood memory
Of knowing a boy with a golden heart,
This boy believed that there is good in everybody,
He thought that if you give the world the best you have,
The best will come back to you,
He gave the world the best he had,
Alas, he got the worst of the world,
Robbed, bullied, beaten, tormented, friendless,
He grew cynical, pessimistic and selfish,
He was ruthless in business
heartless in destroying his competition
He gave the world the worst he had
and got back the best it had
Then the rich and successful man looked in the mirror
and remembered a time when the boy was him.

I do a lot of these images. This one was today's. I'm just now puzzling out tomorrow's. Not in, though, thank you.

I have a couple of larger art projects planned this month. Hopefully, I'll manage to get one finished and post here. Hopefully! That's an interesting loop! Do you know Harry Chapin?

My son started kindergarten in September, and his school day is 6 hours long (sometimes 8). I imagined that it would feel like a super long time for a 5-year-old, and so I started putting them in his lunch as a... I dunno, I just felt unreasonably guilty packing him off to school for so long. Plus, back then, he had very little interest in drawing and I was trying to be encouraging.

Anyway, now I feel that I can't miss a day or it will be taken amiss! I've had some real morning scrambles. Still, it keeps me drawing, even if simply.

I don't need any votes, thanks. I do play games, but not very many these days. Dammit, it's midnight already.
