Our moderation team decided not to take a side in the discussion since this giveaway thread was created by the community and, as long as there are no forum rules violated, is up to you, dear Gogers, to decide its fate. We will not set giveaway rules, edit the OP's post, nor lock the whole thread.

However, to make it easier for newcomers to understand the situation (about the OP being inactive and other), I will stick my own post right above the first one.

You are, of course, free to create new threads to start anew and make your own, clear rules. At the same time, please stay reasonable when crating them, as multiple new duplicates might make it even more confusing for many Gogers.

I can't seem to register, every username I try gets a "Name invalid or unavailable. Reminder - No special characters, spaces or numbers allowed." the no number or special chars bit really makes it difficult :/

You're welcome! Was wondering to put it here or not due to how many people here hate ufnair business practices like DRM and SWTOR doesn't have fair F2p policies. :) (tihink SWTOR btw at least the class stories were pretty darn good. Some fo them great like the agent storyline, overall think SWTOR was a better single player Bioware RPG than Dragon AGe Inquistion. :)
(I would have also put here sooner since this promo was around earlier but only just noticed it yesterday cause I wanted to check out SWTOR for a bit again after watching a few episodes of a MMO anime. :))

Do you already have a EA/Origin account by any chance? I was having your exact problem and just logged in from here (https://account.swtor.com/user/login, leave Security Key blank) with my EA/ORIGIN ID (REDVWIN) and had to validate my e-mail address (It took like 5 mins for the e-mail to arrive).

Check to see if BlackThornyTheStud is available.

But yes, it's supposed to be a shared user database across all EA, Bioware and Origin games.

I just dislike them as I have a customer service issue that's gone on now for over three years that they refuse to even acknowledge.

Oh and if you're a Preferred player or a previous sub, you should already have the first two xpacs.

Is the username really that important for you? Just think of anything (like a scentence and use the first letters -> lasautfl) it's probably not taken then :)
