[This is a sticky post, it will be visible in every single page of this thread. It has been published in October 2020.]

Our moderation team decided not to take a side in the discussion since this giveaway thread was created by the community and, as long as there are no forum rules violated, is up to you, dear Gogers, to decide its fate. We will not set giveaway rules, edit the OP's post, nor lock the whole thread.

However, to make it easier for newcomers to understand the situation (about the OP being inactive and other), I will stick my own post right above the first one.

You are, of course, free to create new threads to start anew and make your own, clear rules. At the same time, please stay reasonable when crating them, as multiple new duplicates might make it even more confusing for many Gogers.

That being said, here you can find a post with dxenija's community poll to have better understanding of the situation: CLICK.

At the time of writing, open giveaway threads are:
- Massive Giveaways Blog
- Free (temporary) keys giveaway central topic. (this one)
- Updated Itch.io giveaways

Be nice to each other *flies away*

Thanks! I think this is even better as it's offered DRM-free with a Steam key for those who must have it.

If "bought" as a gift, does it have an expiration date? The steam giveaway was supposed to last 24 (48?) hours.

I don't think so, but I may be wrong.

One thing to take note is that, when you go to the main page of Steam and look at the announcement section/box on the right, it would usually tell us if there were any games being made free only for the certain weekend. For this case, I don't see any news stating that LIMBO is free only for this weekend. This convinces me that LIMBO is going to be forever yours once you take it between the given period of time (which is 48 hours I think), hence, no expiration date. I hope this answers your question.

EDIT #1: Sorry, but I think I missed your point. I still believe that it doesn't have an expiration date.

EA continues to give Battlefield expansions, adding to On The House Battlefield 4™ Second Assault

https://www.origin.com/en-ie/store/free-games/on-the-house

Also if you own Dragon Age 2, you might want to check the list of DLC's and add two small ones for free (Ser Isaac's Armor and Blood Dragon Armor). Go to your library, hover over the game, press i, select "get it free" and you have some new shinies for your Hawke. Stuff still missing for DA2 to be complete: Signature Edition Items and Soundtrack

Oh, and there's this - it's actually permanently free.

Those i've listed were previously unavailable, hence the post:)

Ser Isaac's Armor was a limited promo item given to people that pre-ordered Dead Space 2 and the codes expired quickly after Dead Space 2's launch.

Blood Dragon Armor should have been available for the people that had DA:O, but for some reason they've forgot to add it. Well, now they are available for every owner of DA2.

Now, if they add the Signature Edition Items and the soundtrack, i will be a happy cat. Same goes for the promo items for Dead Space 2/3, Kingdoms of Amalur, DA:I and a few more other games (the more recent NFS games had some special editions and promo cars that were available for the people that pre-ordered the game, those editions and pre-orders not being available on Origin and i do not see why not adding the content for a price or free, if they feel magnimous).

I can't understand why the bloody pirate would have a superior edition to the one that the paying customer has....

And in case that you've missed my ME2 post, the Dr. Pepper promo items and the Terminus Armor and Weapon pre-order items were also added under your game DLC list (i've found one of the Dr. Pepper items to be quite useful for my soldier Jane Shepard)

Oh cool, great! Yeah, I knew that those two items were added now, but I wanted to post that link in case someone missed it who'd like those items.

Btw can't you still get the Kingdom of Amalur and ME3 items by playing the demos? I know you were able to get ME3 items by finishing the KoA demo both on Steam and Origin, and KoA items by finishing the ME3 demo. And three extra items for KoA by finishing the KoA demo (one of them being unlockable simply by launching the demo btw).

There were some pre-order stuff that isn't available for the peeps that missed or did not pre-order. See here

Oh right! Well, except for the Rod of Dowsing, they're just additional items for completionists. If you have infinite inventory in KoA, that is.
The card is also useful.;)
