I'm wondering if the new owners care very much for the Freedom Friday event anyway. They seem to release free games as they become available, rather than holding them for FF. So FF is more of a "hey, you might have missed these free ones in our catalogue" type of thing instead of a showcase of new titles.

Might change back to the way it was given time. So far the new owners haven't been around long enough to get a reading on.
