Gilou: Like 66% of Frenchs according to its popularity rate
Well, I did say I never was a fan of his. Presumably, the majority of the French must have been fans of his at some point (or at least seen him as "the lesser evil"), or he'd never have been elected.

I tried to tease supporters of Sarkozy here at GoG.

Ah, Zappa :-D
And I know my spelling is correct. I actually have a very good grasp of both spelling and pronounciation in French, I just don't understand very much of it :-/

"Someone cut to Merkel's face! I want a nice, tight close-up of her forced smile!"
The irony is, that personality wise Hollande is a lot more like Merkel than Sarkozy ever was.If they can find common ground issue wise, they can work a lot better together than the fabled "Merkozy" I honestly don't expect much of a change. Promises in elections are usually only valid until the ballot is cast. And when Sarkozy was elected, everybody was expecting a new "ice age" between Germany and France. Not quite what happened.
