Great collection!!
Very nice collection. Love the big boxes (I remember those days when you got a big box full of goodies and not just 1 disk with no manual that you get these days.

My pride and joy is an original boxed copy of midwinter with both 3.5 & 5.25 inch floppy disks pity i dont have a disk drive to use it with but the manual for that was a great long read.
Ooh, a very nice collection. I lost my box collection a few years ago. Now all I have left are Sacrifice and Resident Evil 3 boxes.
Awesome collection. Some of those are very rare and could fetch you quite a fortune should you decide to sell it to some obscure game collector.
Did you see the recent news story about the French video game collector that just sold a big chunk of his old game collection on EBay for over 1 million euros. Now that would be worth collecting games for.

That's a fine start for a collection.

I had to get rid of the big cardboard boxes because they started to take far too much space. I put the game CDs and manuals into small air tight plastic bags. And even then I feel they are taking too much space.

The latest physical game I bought was Rise of Nations 2 (it came on a small DVD box luckily), and even there I noticed that the big box where I keep my PC strategy games is already completely full, so I have hard time fitting the RoN2 DVD case inside it. I keep the physical PC games in separate big boxes by the genre, e.g. strategy games, RPGs, adventure games and action games. I first had a separate box also for simulators, but I merged them with action titles as with some games it is hard to tell which category they belong to (like the Jetfighter and Comanche series?), and I don't hava as many simulators and action titles, as I have in the other genres.

I must say I still prefer the digital (GOG) items, they take less space and are much easier to organize...

If only you could remove Daikatana from the picture.... :)

SnakeEyesX80: I forget I had a lot of these games! They're still in the original boxes with all the manuals and orignal CD and cases! I just wanted to share these photos, not to brag or anything. I figure if anyone from GOG see these maybe they could add them.

Oh and I forgot that I still have System Shock 2! That one really surprised me. I also have The Elder Scroll Adventures: Redguard, which is pretty obscure.
for some reason it didn't post the 2nd pic.
Good old days. I still have a closet full of these cardboard boxed beauties and I stll try to find the ones that I missed (well, did try when I had $). I have most from your pics.
This is my collection.
I'm very sad I tossed out my Thief1 and Thief2 boxes in a move. It was a tough call then and I have regretted it ever since, but space was a premium at the time and empty boxes was a hard sell.

The Devil Inside belongs on GOG! ;)
So cool, I wish I had game boxes - only have Diablo 2 and Warcraft 3, in DVD cases :P
Most of my PC games I bought were bundled in magazines...

lowyhong: Some of those are actually worth a fair bit, especially if sold in a set. Most eBayers nowadays are adept at filtering out the sought-after games from the rest in the pile. TG and T2 can fetch a nice price of $40-$50 if sold together. Fallout 2 can go for as high as $150 (LOL!), but this is dependent on luck. Funnily, Planescape isn't going as high as it should. I guess the lack of a sequel = lack of interest.
I have fallout 1 and 2.... IM RICH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With those games you've always been rich. There are things more valuable than money.
