Thanks so much for making me champion! I have a vague memory of it being horrendously stressful, but rn all I feel is joy and pride! I think I managed to show them a bit of what makes gog mafia great!

my name is catte: it would be quite interesting to play a game with secret signups and everyone using a burner account. Masquerade mafia. People's actual username would be revealed with their flip. It would be interesting to see how many people could be identified by their writing style, I bet people would figure me out straight away.

Ambiti0nZ: This sounds like a great idea actually! It would definitely make the game more interesting and avoid many of the gameplay pitfalls from my time, back in the day.

my name is catte: Can you imagine if you were modding a game where someone suggests that and all the players go "Oh yeah, Guy has a point!" and there's nothing you can do to correct them? I would expect the game to suddenly and mysteriously require a substitute mod. That or you just modkill everyone.

ZFR: That's the real reason you need a co-mod. Not for the help, but for being someone you can vent to.
Can confirm. Depending on the state of the game ZFR had several posts comprised of "Seriously <playerX>?" I think I could hear him facepalm once or twice all the way over here during the last game, too.

ZFR's comments are not just informative they're also entertaining. Modkill/10 would definitely co-mod again.

No, thank you! Besides being pretty obviously innocent, you were the most entertaining player. Loved that pic you drew for LLD - I read that "For you, my lady" in the voice of Meriadoc Brandybuck.

Yeah that image made me lol so much when I drew it, and then I wasn't expecting anything like her reaction to it it was so pleasing. Probably my best work to date :)

Do you remember the scene from The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King where Merry kneels in front of Théoden and offers his sword? And how his face lit up when Théoden accepted it and made him an esquire of Rohan? That's how the posts you exchanged with LLD played in my mind. Super fun.
