I did use random.org. Good thing I wasn't picked myself.

A solid strategy (no wonder you haven’t lost a game ever) we don’t want unlucky people in our space ship. Had a similar idea for club at uni when people applied to join in but couldn’t convince people of its effectiveness.
@lift Do we jettison them into space to lynch them?

Someone's not reading the rules... how do we cut open their brains if they are floating in space?
avatar
Lifthrasil: Damn. adalia is on to me. We should meet some time, adalia, some place secluded, to have a civilized conversation and a meal and wine.
Aww, how sweet! Adalia, Lift wants to have you over for dinner!

Lifthrasil: Those working with the mutants - mutants themselves - always had tiny, disgusting worms in their brain.

there, there I found our first mutant! :D Praise me!
Nah, you got it all wrong. I underlined the part where you made a mistake. I know it is an easy mistake to make; SHODAN told me it would come up.

I'm rather curious about this line from the OP: "Now there you are. The last survivors of the human race, stuck on a stranded ship 12 light-years from Earth and any help."

If we're the last survivors of the human race, then how are we going to get any help from Earth? Did everyone else on Earth die out, or were they all converted somehow because we (like utter morons) were all "Hey guiz lets take all these aliens back to our home planet, ignoring the outcomes of nearly every movie ever that did something similar!!"

I assumed that was an error and should be just the last human survivors on the ship, or words to that effect.

Because how can we have a third version of this flavour if all the humans are dead?
I wanted to vote adalia for his comment “Because how can we have a third version of this flavour if all the humans are dead?” because the comment reads to me that it came from someone who’s no longer human.

Are you still an unaffected human adalia?

For now I’ll go with Vote Sage because girls have cooties

Don’t people blast in space because of low air pressure? Like this. We can check the pieces for worms using star treky scanners then.
Thanks trent. I thought sickbay would have found a cure for it by now. =) I wonder if boys are still made out of snails and puppy dog tails. Ill need to research that a bit more.

Here's a better question: how are we going to get to an airlock in the first place? As far as I know, they didn't include one directly on the bridge.

Are you volunteering to accompany the lynch victim and make the run through the halls full of warring cyborgs and mutants?

>Not having an airlock on bridge
Jeez what kind of prehistoric tech are we using?
Many of the doors on the alternate reality's USS Enterprise, launched in 2258, were airlocks, including the starboard entrance to the bridge

Ah we’re in 2114 right now, looks like I’m living in the future already.

Because he's accruing an alarming amount of votes and we wouldn't want to kill the newbie day 1 in his first game. Well, I wouldn't, maybe some of the rest of you might...

Human certainly, unaffected I'm not so sure about. I've seen some pretty nasty things, I'm bound to have PTSD or something... How can anyone be unaffected by what's going on here?
