RWarehall: Jelly?
Are you going on who ever accepts your donut must be scum? What happens if they are just hungry? Or high and have the munchies? =)

avatar
Dessimu: Nobody tell flubbucket, but up until now for some reason I believed he is in this game and already wanted to vote him for extreme lurking.
Bad dess for not reading the beginning posts. Its good to know who is in the game unless you scum. Anything you wanna share?

Bookwyrm627: I'm going to get lynched Day 1 again for saying something stupid. I don't think I'm going to be able to keep my sarcastic mouth in check, and it is going to get me killed. I can feel it, and my Magic 8-ball confirmed it.
Magic 8-balls can not be trusted. One told me I was going to be married to Johnny Deep.

In its defense, neither you nor the man are dead yet. ;)

lol yeah and our wedding will have unicorns and centaurs as ushers.

@trent - what are your thoughts so far?
@Jmich- What are your thoughts so far as well?
I feel like there not has much from either of you. Jmich explained his lack of enjoyment for the rvs phase but I still would like to hear from him and trent.

My thoughts so far, its day 1 and people are making a lot out of nothing. Makes me wonder who's doing it just to appear townie.

This made me laugh.

I can't make a detailed post until this evening. If bookwyrm is town, he is now at L-2, and scum could potentially hammer (assuming there's a scum team, don't know why there wouldn't be). For now:

Unvote bookwyrm

Sage103082: @Jmich- What are your thoughts so far as well?
Mordeheim is probably making me see things, but I thought the Monolith faction in the previous game did have the word cult in the description. Taking a quick look though doesn't show anything, but I still have the nagging feeling that mentioning cultists is a slip.
Then again, we all recall how good my hunches were last game.

Somehow the progress through the Zone is slow. You have to traverse a swampy area, rich with anomalies - and 'Flesh' mutants. Pigs, that have been twisted by the Zone to have an almost human face and a nasty temper. Time and again you are attacked and at other times you just have to take care, not to get stuck in the swamp. Or to get caught in an invisible anomaly. So the beeping of the anomaly detectors is often the only noise heard as the Day stretches on.
Well the thread seems to have died.

First thoughts....what is up with RWarehall? I don't know what to make of all the donut stuff. Well, not the donut stuff in and of itself - the donut stuff and nothing else of conseqnece. No questionins, no thoughts...just jelly donuts. I'm not even sure if it's AI or not. Anyone have a take on this?

@RWarehall - Anything?

trentonlf: I am not sure that bookwyrm is who's skull we need to look into. I've gone back over his posts and I see nothing out of sorts and the scrutiny he is getting puzzles me.
Did you read his posts as purely joking around (the posts prior to this)? Did you read either of his votes in Posts #38 or #51 as a serious vote?

Whose skull needs looking into?

Dessimu: Cristigale, dear... Dat Book-man think yu slip and fall in da trap. All yu did though, was say dat his chain of thoughts do not add up and is a scheme. Or do yu protekt Drealmer? Yu scum?
Nope, no Monolith lunatic here. And by extension, no, I'm not protecting drealmer. If I was scum, I wouldn't protect him either. :-)

@Dess - do you find anyone suspicious?
avatar
Dessimu: Hej. Hej! Look me in da eye. Yu scum or scum yu not?
avatar
Bookwyrm627: Сука блять!

If that doesn't actually translate to "Bitch, I might be!", then I have no idea what I just said.
You should do a translate in your browser, it's a bit stronger than that. :-)

Bookwyrm627: I have no idea what Smokey in the Bandit is, nor do I know who Jackie Gleason is. I assume they are not associated with Leeroy in any capacity. The accent was because it amused me.
<sigh> I feel old. No, there is no association between the characters. The Jackie Gleason character is who I heard talking in the final portion of your post #38.

avatar
cristigale: But seriously, Bookwyrm, you seem to be baiting players with the Cult references. Which is fine to see who bites and how. But in this case, the conclusions you are drawing do not add up.

This doesn't feel like town poking and prodding, it seems forced which feels scummy,

Vote Bookwyrm
avatar
Bookwyrm627: You know what feels forced? Voting for someone because that person placed an RVS vote based on a statement about flavor.
I did not vote you because of flavor. When I read post #38 (your first vote on drealmer), I wasn't certain if you were serious. Calling drealmer a "cultist" as your reasoning for voting felt forced. That's why I asked.

By the time I read your replies to Sage and your second vote on drealmer, I thought you were serious. It seemed like you were trying to throw shade on Sage in both replies (I'll have to outline these later.) You continued to use 'cultist' even after questioned about it. (Include in the later outline). Your play felt scummy.

For now, I have to get some sleep. I'll address the rest later.

(I apologize if this is a double post, the first attempted didn't seem to go through)

GammaEmerald: ...
Suddenly a Pseudodog, who has been hiding among the reed, jumps out and tackles GammaEmerald, who has been straying from the crowd. His slavering teeth snap at Gamma's throat and only the armor saves the isolated Stalker's life. The others rush to aid and shoot the dog. However, there's a moment of doubt whether the dog's teeth haven't penetrated the armor after all. Sometimes the saliva of these monsters is caustic or transfers horrible diseases, so the group investigates Gamma worriedly. Will he get up and be OK? Or has he been poisoned and is done for?

Gamma, you have been prodded. Please return to the game and stand up, otherwise you'll be done for.

From my perspective bookwyrm's posts were nothing unusual and are what I would expect of him during RVS. As for his votes, I figure the one on Sage was a joke and was not sure if he was serious or not about drealmer. But, bookwyrm will often do the same thing I do (at least I see it that way), he'll drop a vote or comment to see what it stirs up or what attention it attracts.

As to who's brain we need to be looking into, at the moment I'm leaning toward a few people but am waiting for a bit more interactions before I say who as I don't want someone to change behavior because I suspect them.

You couldn't tell if I was seriously voting for someone for saying there are no donuts in the Zone?

I may owe HSL an apology. Maybe it is me, not him.

How was I trying to throw shade? Especially in that first reply, where I comment on her sudden fixation on NS and ask what role I'm referencing?
