I don't know I just feel like attempting Diablo 2 again. And I am still gonna do it as a Paladin because I am traditional that way with my Fantasy Hero. Plate Armor, Sword and Shield either Warrior or Paladin. I grew up with guys like that.

But what I am asking for is advice for a Build.

In my last playthrough I did a Hammerdin Build which I essentially maximize Blessed Hammer thus demons go down in a few hits. Diablo and Baal were no match. But it resulted in the game being more repetitive. Spamming that same attack over and over.

So I ask does anyone have a suggested build for a Paladin. My preference is a build that lets my normal attack do a great amount of damage while still able to use a good amount of different abilities for Variety. Also I want to end up still having a Sword because I ended up not using one becuase Quality Sword drops just did not happen.

Another question is this. If I beat the game for the first time what happens after. Is there any post content because well Diablo 3 had this feature called Adventure which makes you tackle everything in any order. Is there something similar like at least have the bosses respawn?
Why don't you use your imagination? And how old are if you grew up with Paladin's?
Don't take offence:-)

12-13.

Perticularly when I first played Final Fantasy 4 and always picked the Pally in Tactics Advanced.

And Warcraft 3 ;)

I don't remember that much anymore, but once you've leveled and geared enough, you played at the harder difficulties. On the highest difficulty, I don't recall Paladins doing so well solo with Sorceress and Amazon being the easiest.

That would be my take as well. In fact I don't know if I ever been as far as Act II with a Paladin whereas a good Sorceress almost plays itself, or herself.
Zealot is the best build for single-player Paladin :

I was thinking Angelic Avenger.....

Also can the bosses "Respawn" after I beaten act 5 for the first time?
If you want a challenge and with a ton more content in the game, you can always add the zy-el mod (for v1.09d only)
I wonder why everyone love so much this game; I give it a chance, twice, but I don't like it so much, it does not feel right... The atmosphere, the monsters, it is not Diablo anymore. Is like the game is too happy now, while in Diablo 1 it was all bizarre.

Blizzard did a great job enhancing the game, but didn't about the whole concept about Diablo is.

I hopes GOG get's a proper license to sell old Blizzard games, like Starcraft, BlackThorne and Diablo 1. If they get Diablo 2, for sure I will give it another chance... For 3rd time.
There is this which make use of aura from [url=http://www.diablo2.com/forum/runewords-auras-edition-t20846.html?s=9c79dd0497f8f26f41c12f6514def55c&]rune words

You will have a very colorful paladin and be a great inspiration for your team.

Do a 'no click necromancer run'. Make it so that your minions do the work while you are a loot vacuum.

Might be a bit much to say it was "not Diablo anymore" (D3, on the other hand...) but, still, I definitely get you. I always liked the first Diablo the best for the creepy, gloomy atmosphere.
Second game still had some of that, especially in acts 1 and 4, but it did feel glossed over somewhat, and the pace of the game turned into too much of an action-y loot-fest.

I'd get over d2, forget about it, and play Path of Exile
Imo, it's way better.
