I just got done watching Quarentine. Pretty good flick though, I thought the whole camera point of view thing was done better in Diary of the Dead (watched that one last night).
Decent acting, good pacing and some legitimate scares. Over all, a solid 7/10. :)

I really enjoyed Diary of the Dead as well, though there was ONE predictable death scene (I won't mention it, you will know what I mean) which spoiled an otherwise AMAZINGLY realistic and unpredictable movie. I almost wonder if like certain african tribes, Romero intentionally put a predictable cliched death in their as an intentional mistake? VERY good movie though, definitely one of my favorite horror flics.

Cool I'm gonna have to check that out. Sounds like my kind of music atleast :P
Also I kinda stumbled over an old John Carpenter movie on a lovecraft related channel on youtube. It was called The Mouth of Madness and I really liked it.

Just don't go into it expecting an oscar winner. It's plot is kinda pieced together strangely and Bai Ling is topless for a bunch of scenes (This may be a good OR bad thing depending on your outlook). I can't really describe alot of it, but combine a gothic/industrial look with a cyberpunk world, and you have this. Think Shadowrun meets the masters cathedral from Fallout, with a hint of Hell from Doom 3.
That said, it's soundtrack kicks major ass and I had a fun time watching it.

They are the Vengeance Trilogy, with OldBoy being my favourite. I have to cut this short for now, so i'll leave it to imdb or wiki to explain it. I might come back and edit this post later.

Just finished watching "Blue Velvet" (David Lynch).
Bizzare, but good film.
Well worth a look for any Lynch fans, but may be a bit too wierd for some peoples tastes.

Old Boy is a fantastic film that many have not seen. It is most likely because it is a foreign film with English subtitles. I am not a huge fan of subtitles, but I really liked the movie. The only hard part is finding a copy.

Was easy enough to find a copy here (at retail, HMV if you're wondering) in the UK, things a bit different across the pond? I suppose this could be a case for internet shopping.
Old Boy is a great film, (as is Lady Vengeance) and I will find it very odd when the Spielburg/Will Smith version is released (both versions are/will be different intepretations of the original comic apparently).

Old Boy got a pretty nice release with the steel box with the comic, it wasn't that hard to find when it came out, and now I see the regular DVD in a lot of bargain bins.

With the comic? Fuuuu-
The DVD itself is good enough but I would have loved to have had that!

I just watched Sunshine Cleaning, which was delightful.

My last two films I saw was...
Drag Me To Hell. Which was delightful experience of scares and comedy.
The Ruins. Which I thought it would suck, but it's not that bad. I actually liked the movie and though it had some creepy moments.

Watched District 9 this evening!
Awesome, I recommend it to anyone.

I like both those movies. I was pleasantly surprised by The Ruins too. Kinda original concept, atleast today when horror is mostly slashers or ghost stores with little girls.

Any movies you can recommend me? I quite liked The Grudge and The Ring, anything else good with dead little girls? :D
