I have loaded Far Cry 1 and I am trying to play online but I keep getting a message asking for a Key Code but nothing was ever sent to me when I purchased the game through Gog. I have submitted multiple inquiries about it but still have not heard back from anyone.

Please let me know if you have come across this issue.

Thank you.

REQUEST SUPPORT FOR SERIAL NUMBER

The serial number for the game is not automatically generated and you need to contact support to get it.
It's necessary, along with the creation of a Uplay account, to access the game's online multiplayer.

Here is list of games by community member Grargar that require Serial keys.

According to this:
http://www.gog.com/mix/gog_games_with_serial_numbers
You need to ask Support to get it, because it's not generated automatically.

I guess it can take a couple of days.

How do I contact Support for a Serial Number if they never get back to me?

This form https://www.gog.com/support/contact/technical_issues_with_games/far_cry and choose "multiplayer key request" as your problem type.

If they don't contact you back after couple of days, then you should probably try to bug someone from staff here on forums. But give support a bit of time to get back to you, don't start panicking after several hours of waiting if that's the case.

Thanks I have submitted another request but it's been over a week and I have never received a response to any of my questions. I hope they respond to this one. I have purchased this game twice and I still can't get online. One through Uplay and one through Gog. Dam computers without CD rom drives!!!

Thanks for your help!
I got the key for NWN within few hours of submitting a support request, looks like they give these tickets a high priority.

Maybe it just landed in your spam folder? Did you at least get an automated response about creating support ticket?

Yes I did get the automated response but nothing after that.

In that case I'd probably write to Firek and ask about this (or maybe JudasIscariot). I know that there was a big sale lately and support is probably overwhelmed, as always during and shortly after sales ;), but over a week of waiting is a bit much.

Thank you I will try that to see if it helps!!!

Worry not, I've got spies everywhere!
I found your ticket and, while we're currently well-staffed and up to speed with tickets (and intending to keep it that way!) this one is indeed unreplied... I already wrote this in my reply to your ticket, but once again I'm sorry this happened - I'm sure there was a good reason why this had to happen, but it's a shame that you weren't informed of it. I'll investigate in the office, first thing in the morning.
I have just sent you the code, along with my personal contact details (please don't share!;)) in case something happens.

It was actually a year ago, back in August 2014. I submitted a support request at 8:51 AM and got my key at 2:30 PM of same day. (<6 hours)

^ Looks like you got your key too!

Hello, I have tried the code you gave me and it won't take it. It asks me for the code when I log into my Ubisoft account and when I add it it asks me again for the code like it's not valid.

Please help!!!

Thank you.
