A Dungeon of Love for Valentine’s Day from GOG.com and EA!

Today of all days, a good part of the world celebrates love in all shapes, sizes, and flavors. For us at GOG.com, there is no greater love than the love of classic PC games. We love them, you love them, and you know what? We love you as well! So we decided to celebrate Valentine’s Day by partnering up with our friends at Electronic Arts to offer you an exclusive Dungeon Keeper promotion:

For the next 48 hours Dungeon Keeper Gold (complete with the Deeper Dungeons expansion) can be added to your GOG.com account for free! If you already own it on GOG.com, you can still get one extra gift-code for the game and present it to your significant other gamer, or a friend.

Spend time quality time protecting your Dungeon Heart from invaders and experience this classic series first hand. Further, the excellent sequel, Dungeon Keeper 2, is available for only $1.49 as a part of our special Valentine's Day promo. The offer lasts until Sunday, February 16, at 10:59AM GMT.

Would you rather storm and loot dungeons rather than protect them? Our special Destination: Dungeons & Dragons promo has you covered with a great collection of RPG classics up to 80% off!

Johnmourby: I might have to pass. I don't care for game that force you to play evil. I play evil everyday in real life. When I'm in a video game I wanna be the good guy, for a change.
Dungeon Keeper doesn't force you to play evil. Quite the opposite.

In fact, you're just a humble dungeon keeper, building you dungeon, mining gold, making all your tennants as happy as possible and generally just minding your own business. All is well and everyone's happy. Until suddenly that epic douchenozzle of a knight comes in, fucking everything up and stealing all your shit. Unless, of course, you punch him in the fucking soul.

How's that being evil? Sir Breaking-and-Entering is the evil dickweed here!

So am I still the only person in the world who has the bug with DK1 where I lose control of the mouse cursor and it flies to the corner of the screen/map, meaning you need to close dosbox?

I get the same thing with Syndicate Wars too, which uses the same engine as DK1.
How do i download the Dungeon Keeper game? I Clicked the free games and I didnt get Dungeon Keeper

You should get an email shortly telling you the game has been added to your account. Then you can go to My Account -> My Games and it should be there. Mine took about 10-15 minutes for the email to be sent to me. Enjoy!

Is that promo for free DK1 still available ? I can't see it in the free games.
As someone who has never played Dungeon Keeper before this is great. But this is also important to me for two other distinct reasons; No micro transactions or censorship.

If there is one thing that I can count on when it comes to GOG it is freedom of opinion, regardless of pre-conceived notions of a so called 'classic' game. Unlike with EA's recent blocking of negative reviews for the new Dungeon Keeper. Reviews for games like Ultima 9, Masters of Orion 3, Empire Earth 3, and many others are allowed to be given honest reviews, without having to resort to censorship to boost sales and silence bad publicity.

For this reason in regards to this sale the people at GOG continue to maintain my trust and respect.
Count me in as another satisfied customer. : )

Well, we did have to resort to censorship once but that was because of things not related to a game at all, unfortunately :/ I say "unfortunately" because of the situation.

They're testing a new system for free game codes. You have to go to the main page, click on the button there, and the code gets emailed out in a few hours.

if the main page doesn't work for you, good luck. It took me 5 tries to get it to go through.

In regards to what exactly? If you don't mind me asking.

I'm not sure where to click at the main page. There is a button with DK1 Free and DK2 75% OFF. When I click on it, it redirects me to DK promo page. There is link Dungeon Keeper Gold but it redirects me again to the main page, but thx for help anyway.
