I haven't felt the urge to pledge to it but I also haven't played Dreamfall (keep forgetting to pick it up during the times I can afford it).

Right now, I'm just confused though. Is Ragnar still with Funcom?

I guess he's indie now, but I have no idea really.

Pledged $20. Now I just need to play TLJ and Dreamfall before this gets released.

Need to check this in detail later, so far release is planned for November 2014 (sounds realistic to me). Highly interested that the story continues, it would be also fine from gog to jump in here like in other kickstarter projects.

He's indie, see the part about Red Thread Games.

DC will be released DRM-free.

In most Kickstarter cases DRM-free means "also on GOG".

He has his own studio now (Red Thread Games), and while Red Thread are making Dreamfall chapters it is still made under Funcom license.... so it depends on your definition of Indie... .

I'm sure we will it see here, but it would be nice if they already can make an agreement so he can add that info to his kickstarter page. Maybe GOG could do also some other promo stuff like a special sale, an article or another ask the developer. Yeah, I know I'm kind of demanding here, but I really want that the story/stories continues (damn cliffhangers) ;-)

Campaign seems to be doing well so far, though to be fair it needs to do well to reach the target. Quite a lot of money, hope we don't see a repeat of the Wildman-situation.

That said, I suspect they'll make it. I really hope so, anyway.

Wildman is a misunderstanding.

It's a game that may be compared to Grim Dawn (at least when we consider Kickstarter possibilities). There's no way they could reach 1.1 mln $ with a concept like this. They reached 450k till now only because some people felt they need to help GPG, or GPG will go bankrupt.

They should ask for 650k, and maybe they would reach it.

And in case of DC - 850k is a lot, but remember that Broken Sword reach 771k.
