Is there a problem with the servers? I've been trying to download Hard Reset and the download keeps going to 0 mb/s every 20 seconds or so. The only way to resume the download is to exit out of galaxy and restart, but then it starts doing it again (0 mb/s).

It's driving me nuts! Any suggestions?

One way about it, would be to download the game through the website. See if it works better. While the web install might be manual, you can use the scan and import function from Galaxy to have the game be part of your installed library.

Is anyone else having issues with downlloads stopping every 20 or 30 seconds? What is going on with GOG?

And usually Galaxy find games installed by the offline installers on it's own - does a little check-and-update dance and it works.

So I should no longer download through the Galaxy Client? Does the client use different servers than the gog website?

It's the internet. If something doesn't work, try a different route. For me Galaxy has almost always just fine, but when there was a hiccup, the offline installers were a way around it.

GOG downloads are "cloud" which means a myriad of servers. And Galaxy downloads are different from the offline installers. This means if a server required for Galaxy downloads doesn't respond, you might still be able to get the offline installer.
Egads, this is painful. Was planning on buying more games today, I'm not so sure anymore. Thanks for the responses.
