Maybe not. It has been on DotEmu for months now. Maybe the game is not old enough to convince Activision to sell it à $10.

And on D2D and Steam for much longer, at the $20 price point. The time to have gotten it was when it was $5 during some Halloween or Autumnal themed sale earlier this year. D2D's copy is technically not DRM-free however it's a trivial thing to bypass with a bug-fixing fanpatch which makes for a smoother experience anyway, like the Gibberlings Three fixpatches do with the Baldur's Gate / Icewind Dale games.
Still hoping to see here AvP, 688.., Hardwar, Vampyre Story and some other titles already present on DotEmu...
Damn... I probably won't be getting anything from there, as I need to have my stuff in one place. Like GoG, or more restrictive, yet still quite comfortable - Steam ( I personally had no problems with it.)

And really, if you're going to use a fan patch to fix the game and bypass the uh, activation, you might as well do it on the Steam version since it'll be cheaper anyhoo. :p

The only disadvantage of DotEmu over GOG is that DotEmu don't offer one global price, but instead have the 1USD = 1EUR thing going on. You're not hit with that, being American.

Well, I don't know about that. I think it depends on when each Digital Distribution site's sales are going on. Steam I know has a reputation of very low sale prices when they happen; I don't use them myself so I'm not terribly familiar. At the moment VtMB isn't on sale at either D2D or Steam so DotEmu would be a good bet. Besides the sale price point there's the principle of supporting DRM-free games, etc. If I hadn't already purchased the game on D2D I'd definitely pick it up now on DotEmu.

Well yeah, but I was just referring to the ones -with- DRM.

If you're going to use a patch to remove it from a DRMed copy, you might as well get the cheapest one avaialble (which will likely be on Steam.) But if you want one without the DRM, then $12 isn't a bad price at all.
I'm going to get a few games with 75% discount, since GOG rarely have those.
Bloodlines is about $5.99 more than it would take for me to replace my Steam copy with a DRM free version.

My acceptable DRM free fee is $6, lol.

Not much else exclusive to there that I want.
I just surprised myself by getting 13 games from their sale. From browsing their catalogue earlier, I didn't even think they had so many games that interested me. ;) However, several of the -75% deals, and some deals on games that GOG doesn't have, were too good to pass. Paying 22€ for merchandise regularly priced at 74€ isn't too bad either.

This reduced my budget for the GOG sale a bit, but fortunately I'm still within my limit. :)

I agree on the "DRM fee." The only other games exclusive to DotEmu that I've been interested in are Robin Hood: Legend of Sherwood (better than Desperadoes in my opinion) and Post Mortem (prequel to Still Life), which I bought during sales.

Actually I'm sort of miffed that VtMB was on sale for some eccentric price like $13.38 on D2D (a game I never saw on sale ever) when I plunked down my debit card for it, then a month later it was being sold for five bucks. Then I think it was on sale for $5 again last Halloween. I don't know if it was ever cheaper on Steam, though. That'd be pretty insane, IMO.
