Absolutely not and have no interest in one either, i try to stay far away from anything Google, Facebook etc.

Technically anyone who comments/subscribes to others/etc has a channel...even if they don;t use it to upload content.

I don't use mine to upload, but I use it to put stuff in library folders to watch and rewatch later on and also to comment/chat on vids and live streams.

I made a channel in 2010 when I was making a video game for my bachelor thesis, then later I made some new games (like a 2D version of Quake 2) and was working on a new 2D game engine:

One of the videos went viral, so I have over one million views now, but I haven't uploaded anything in 2 years. I have never monetized the videos.
