Please welcome two great point ’n’ click adventure games and a dynamic space simulator that are joining GOG.COM’s ranks today:

Amazon: Guardians of Eden (-50%) is a humorous adventure game where you journey back in time to the year 1957 on an expedition to the dark heart of the Amazon Basin.

Countdown (-50%) is yet another cool adventure game with a twist. This time you become an American agent Mason Powers that is being framed for murder.

ECHELON (-50%) is a sci-fi simulator in which you sit behind the cockpit of C-104 Light Cruiser tasked with patrolling unknown charters of space.

All three titles mentioned above are now available on GOG.COM with a 50% discount that will last until 9th August 2021, 1 PM UTC.

Great to see more classic games get released.
Nice way to start a Monday.

Wishlisted.
Countdown was the first VGA adventure game I played. I still remember being amazed by the digitized graphics and voices. I never imagined a PC speaker could reproduce human speech.

I think Amazon had a reputation for being a very hard adventure game but I managed to finish Countdown without any walkthrough.
Echelon! I think I still have my map and coordinates somewhere.

Echelon uses the same Real Sound technology for the computer voices and I am impressed for the quality and clean voices via speakers for a 1987 game.

Hell yeah, I wrote to Big Finish Games about Amazon Guardians of Eden and Countdown in June, and they said they are "certainly going to look into bringing these titles to GOG". I didn't expect them to be here so soon.

GOG, please bring Crime Wave here as well.
Another voice for Crime Wave. Very happy to see these releases from Access Software
Awesome! Thank you GOG & Big Finish Games. Looking forward to enjoying these classics.
Amazon brings back memories, it was one of the early games I played... Not from that very first batch, but still an early one.

Holy mackerel,...I still own the disk version of the C64 version.
I am very tempted...though it would be interesting to know, whether the PC version runs a little more fluid and faster than the C64 version.

Oh hey, Countdown! I finally get to play it. I saw friend play it as a kid and it looked cool. Thanks!
Thanks GOG. I have still my original Countdown box and floppies, but I hoped that one day you will release it here also. I remmeber the day, when I played it for the first time, I was astonished from that sound. :) And Amazon is only a cherry on the cake. :)
Glad to see "new" classic games added.

I have some vague memories of playing Amazon: Guardians of Eden as a kid but not fully understanding what was going on. Time to put a remedy to that!
