Why not? It seems like the more plausible solution rather than googling for tips, at least first.

I would suggest to replay it then when you meet the boss just lower the difficulty and the game received a few patches, it should be more stable now.

I didnt even realize i was playing a tutorial until the intro credits started rolling.. sucked me in... sofar i like it... i play games on easy to enjoy them, after that i ramp up the diff if there worth a 2nd play through.

Sofar im very happy and with SweetFX giving me enhanced graphics Im even happier! i skipped the DLC, i think a game should stand on its own feet... maybe it was a bad choice but meh...

I played this game on the hardest mode "Give me Deus Ex" and I found all the bosses to be pretty easy.... The second last one was a bit tricky but the first 2 were a cake walk.

Ah, great. I never played with SweetFX, will do on my next playthrough though. SMAA + Sharpen gives a nice touch especially if the game is jaggy and blurry.

About the DLC, The Missing Link is worth it but it's not necessary. You gain a few details for the story which I think is important but as far as gameplay is concerned, it's decent.

Get it from Impulse - the game is only like $3.75 there.
