Buy Deus Ex: Human Revolution for $5 on steam or should i wait for GOG to get it? they have the pubs already so im assuming its a matter of time... rather i hope it is...

I have the rest here and would love HR though GOG.com as well but at $5 and i still have yet to play it im at the "cant pass this up" point...

any thoughts, do you guys think HR is coming down the line to gog.com? id gadly pay more for a gog.com copy, its just cheap and steam i only buy cheap on steam...

As Deus Ex: Human Revolution is a Steamworks title, I'd say either never or first in a very long time.

I'd say grab it, since it is (imho) a very nice game. Then grab a second copy when it comes to GOG.com, like I'm planning on doing ;)

It is an excellent game that deserves to be played. Waiting for it to arrive on GOG is a waste. Especially as it hardly will be as cheap here as now.

I read some recent interview with GOG where they said trying to convince publishers to release their new games DRM-free simultaneously on GOG was proving to be a difficult sell, but I wonder if they've made any headway on this issue. It would be a great surprise to be able to buy any of the recent AAA games here.

Get it on sale, the chance of GoG getting it is slim and its an awesome game. No killing is freakishly hard, but so much fun.

The first boss fight made me rage quit. I had put all my points into combat skills, and it still took me hours to beat the guy, and even then I only won because I found an AI glitch. Googled, and found out that it's not the only boss fight in the game, and stopped playing. Since that's all I remember, I don't feel like giving it another try.

So anyway, the game's not all roses and happy puppies.

Buy now and when it came to GOG(i think it will take a long time) bought on GOG.com too.

I came close to quitting as well because of the first boss. That was obnoxiously difficult. But for the second and third boss you just need to max out a certain ability, and you need to carry a particular weapon to help deal with last boss and they turn out to be a piece of cake. I finished the last boss fight in 8 seconds flat.

I can tell you the AI glitch when you get to the first boss if you want to hear it. I'm not usually against difficulty, but that one's just cheap and silly.

/edit: I decided to put the glitch into this post as a picture. THE ATTACHED IMAGE MIGHT BE CONSIDERED SPOILERY OR SOMETHING, though I tried to avoid real spoilers.

Also, have multiple saves at all times. The game can autosave when the boss is making his "killing you" animation, which kills you, and then "load last save" causes you to just die instantly.
