Leroux: Sorry for necro'ing this thread, but it should never have died in the first place. ;)

The Shivah

Neat thanks for this! Wish I had stumbled on the Wadjet demos yesterday (the bundle caught my eye - and while I'm not a big adventure game fan nor a huge fan of retro pixel visuals, something about the Wadjet games just "looks right" and seems to fit, plus the stories are colorful / different enough to catch my attention). I've since decided to take a pass for now, but it's good to know I can be ready for "next time" by actually giving a few of these a shot!
What's everyone's opinion on listing Steam-only demos for games available on GOG? Yay or nay? I've actually found quite a few developers who do this - let Steam host the demo but don't distribute it in any other way, despite the game being available DRM-free on Desura or the dev's website, too. Still, for those among the community members who do have a Steam account, maybe it might be of interest to try the demo there and then possibly buy the games here?

Not that I often play demos nowadays (I'd wager it was several years ago I last used a demo), but in my opinion: sure, as long as it's clear that it requires Steam or links to Steam, say a short note saying "(Steam only)", or even just "(Steam)".

I've decided to do that already by editing my previous post, but I appreciate your feedback, thanks!. :)

That's a perfect indication of how observant I currently am.

More of an indication of how sneaky I am, by editing my posts all the time without announcing it. ;)
