dear santa,

please, give me a license for the freaking defunct forza horizon 3 ultimate, which I missed to purchase back then just to realize it's now gone for good and since I finally got my ways into racing games in '19 has turned into a dream I'm losing hopes of playing as well as a JUMP FORCE Ultimate Edition, which is scheduled to have its sales ended forever too. Was it a tad cheaper, I'd gladly pay for it, but this ******* year took my job as well as my dignity and I'm afraid I won't have another income within a reasonable time.

Yes, a job would make wonders, but as my country is a mess, the people appear to have lost their guts to fight back, it's just a matter of time.

Was I a good boy? Hell, yeah I did my best. Does it pay, in these morally bankrupt days? Definitely not, as many of my friends are facing the same ****.
Dear Buddha, please bring me a pony and a plastic rocket.

I know it's good to be humble, but I believe the Buddha can do world peace as well, not only ponies :P.

Yes, forza horizon 3 on pc is a train wreck as is all windows store games/games for windows dead. I brought halo 2 back in the day and that has never run on any windows. Probably an emulator and Xbox one disc is your best hope, there is some light in the emulator area for xboxes.

I love Microsoft, best company ever. They cancelled Halo Wars 2 for Steam because 343 Industries needed more time for Halo: Master Chief Collection. Halo MCC did not include Halo 5 because 343 Industries needed more time for Halo: Infinite. I wonder what would be their next excuse.

Who mentioned piracy? Just buy a physical copy off eBay. Emulation is not piracy!

Nope. In fact, M$ themselves provide an emulator for the Xbox One for Xbox360 games. Emualtion simply provides a framework for running something on different hardware, it has nothing to do with copyright on individual games. Otherwise dosbox, scumvm etc. would also be illegal.
I understand the bios is also copyright on PS systems, so you would need to own a PS as well.
TBH I wouldn't be that hard anyways, M$ have systematically gone out of their way to ruin gaming on PC with exclusives on the console which aren't even on their own Window OS, and not to mention games for windows dead, windows store abomination etc. Thankfully there are very few games you would want from them which are locked into their console (FH series is one up to 4), so that is a relief. Other things like Halo 2 which are dead on arrival (tm M$ studios) well, can live without. If it wasn't for Windows, I would probably have abandoned M$ for good long ago (Win 7 era).

the logic seems a bit, lacking in parts but all right i'm sure that has more to do with creating a TLDR then exercising the right for a portrayal of the full forest of rules, i was not aware that emulating is more or less allowed when you don't use illegally obtained games (regarding console games on the pc)

That’s not what I said though. I said emulation is legal. You have to legally get the games as well, ie buy off eBay or something. You can pirate the game, but not the means to play it (excepting PS bios).

There are quite a few BIOS ROMs that are still under copyright - it's like the Roland MT-32/CML-32; using a programme like MUNT to emulate the Roland is perfectly legal, but you need the ROMs which are still under copyright by Roland
