Don't forget the trailer recap, or the director's edition trailer with cast and crew commentary.

Heh, i just realized that i saw a bunch of Clint Eastwood movies (around 10 or more, even the old westerns) but i don't actually recall seeing any of the Dirty Harry movies...

It's a trap!

I should have paid more attention to the thread title. :P

That is shocking! :P Great series. Saying that I love most of Clint's movies.

I'm sorry, did I stutter?

Meh Deadpool is a character I find overrated. I guarentee you all he is going to be dated in 30-50 years.

Well, he already has more than 20 years of comics under his belt (next year is his 25th anniversary) and his popularity has been on a pretty steady climb all along, so barring a tectonic shift in comics, I don't really see him fading any time soon.

Reminds me of quote from videogame.
"Suck It, Wolverine"
The full trailer

Like I expected, it's very hit and miss. The jab at Green Lantern was great (even though I actually didn't mind the CG costume in that one), and on the other end of the spectrum the "I'm touching myself tonight" line begged for some chirping crickets. And so it goes. I had a strange Superhero Movie deja vu (the one form 2008) watching this. The same "machine gun" approach to jokes, fire a thousand per minute, at least some will hit the mark. What really worries me is that trailers usually show you the best jokes the movie has to offer. If that was it, the crickets might have to work overtime once it gets released.

I only read a few, but that seems pretty much how you have to portray Deadpool, though. Hardly a panel went by in the comics I read where he wasn't making a wisecrack, a sight gag, or talking to the reader. If the machine gun approach isn't your thing, I feel like Deadpool's not your guy. He's pretty much the Hofstadter joke of superhero comics, right?
